Do you use messages in Chyoa? for what purpose? I'd like to understand how people use messages because I'd like to communicate in this way with other users of the website.
I guess you can use the message function as you see fit as long as you don't annoy other users and don't use it for spamming.
Messaging is used to communicate in private, which is precisely what I do with it. If you want to merely say something like, "Hey, cool story," it's far better to comment that on the story in question. On the other hand, if you want to provide long and detailed feedback specifically to the author, a message is more appropriate.
