Need help with Story ideas - Slave of the overlord.

So been a luckier for a few years and I have story idea and I need help.

So I like the overlord stories. The one where it weak enemy that slowly takes their world. Usually you can get a slave.

So my idea to change the POV instead of the wannabe dictator you play as their helpless slave.

what do you think?

 

I think if it's something you want to write, go for it! If you're looking for just general ideas to add off that...

-there could be options for the "Helpless Slave" to be the real power, and the dictator a real dupe who is being set up to take the fall.
-You could Also take it from the "Helpless observer" standpoint, but in that scenario, you'd really have to focus on WHY what the overlord is doing is so personally humiliating/disheartening.

Other than that, have fun, don't worry about it to much. If you like it, odds are pretty good somebody else will.

 

Female ruler, her country is conquered by Evil Overlord. She is allowed to govern her country, keep order and collect taxes - with a threat of it being totally obliterated. Her price of staying in power is to play Overlord carnal games. She has to balance the loyalty of her people, plans for successful rebellion and liberation, and keeping Overlord and his "police" forces happy.
She has some governmental powers, but she is complete slave to Overlord and his generals, who can decided to execute her just because it would be funny.
