Number Indicating Chapters to Review

I've had a few story owners mention that it was easy to miss a chapter that was ready for review. I'd suggest having a little number like for notifications and messages indicating how many chapters there are to review. It could either show the number of new chapters since the owner/editor checked the list, or the total number of chapters that haven't been reviewed.

 

In addition to having some kind of indicator of unreviewed chapters, I would also like to have a feature that informs story owners and editors about chapters of their stories that are pending for a long time.

 

Unfortunately if that feature is a notifacation, I think it'd be too easy to miss or ignore.

 

I was thinking about automatic messages. Maybe even with a moderator as the sender, so the recipient would be able to reply.

 

That would work well; how long after the chapter is submited would you send the reminder message?

 

I think 15 to 20 days would be good as I see that as an appropriate amount of time to review a chapter.
