The Outer disciples are generally servants with minimum training – they get no pay and work only for food, some training and a place to stay. That life is still better than that of a common peasant. Their disobedience might have them harshly punished – even killed at times. The story starts after the fall of the Violet Cloud Sect, and the successful escape of players. Seeing this as a chance, driven by his/her own reasons, he/she started practising it in secret. (The evil art could be sucking and absorbing the Qi from a partner during sex to temporary strengthen oneself while weakening the partner, calling shades of weak spirits to become servants and act as spies, sacrificing own lifeforce to give himself/herself a great boost in power, a forced 'suggestion' that would force weak-minded to follow it through, etc) (low ‘evil’ art +1) The flight in the aftermath of the Violet Cloud Sect fall (choose one) - saving bitches – two female outer disciples were bulling the Disciple for a long time. During the attack, the Disciple saved the duo. Since then, they followed the Disciple like loyal puppies, doing their best to redeem themselves. The player can decide their gender and suggest pic.) -Violet Cloud Sect Leader’s spirit– when escaping, the Disciple found the body of the sect leader. In battle she was fearsome – but eventually, she was defeated by the Bloody Fang Sect’s leader. She was then fucked - her Qi and life-force were sucked dry through the dark sexual arts and absorbed by the Bloody Fang Sect's leader. As Disciple found the body, a spirit of Violet Cloud Sect's Leader appeared before him/her. At her order, the Disciple took a ring from her body. The spirit of sect leader is bound to the ring and will serve as a teacher and mentor to the Disciple. Eventually, she might be even resurrected… (Violet Cloud Sect leader’s spirit mentor - only one player can choose this.) - getting treasure – during the chaos of fighting, the Disciple raided the treasury, taking some of the things stored there. (starting random treasure, artefact or pill +1) - betrayal – months before the attack came, the Disciple was contacted by a member of an Bloody Fang Sect. The Disciple agreed to act as an insider and help destroy the Violet Cloud Sect. On the night of the attack, the Disciple betrayed the Violet Cloud Sect, allowing Bloody Fang Sect through the defences. The disciple then joined in killing, raping and pillaging. As a reward, he/she was rewarded handsomely, with three puches full of spirit stones and one book containing the mid-tier 'evil' art (it could contain art that would allow sacrifice mortals boost permanently one's power, a sexual art that allows pernamently absorbing Qi of partner to permanently strengthen oneself or partner's life force to extend one's life, art can be resurecting and enslaving corpses like puppets, it can be a form of domination over mind or planting a strong suggestion) (treasure+3, mid evil art+1) Flaws: This represents various deficiencies. It can be having a genetic illness, being bad at talking, having a smaller than usual amount of Qi, being chauvinist, etc. One flaw is mandatory. She know how to read and write, but it demands from her huge efforts, like also to understand more complicadet books. It also make for her harder to learn new spells.
Name: Torii Koyomi Race: Human Heritage (Describe Disciple's origins and how he/she got into the sect.): "You're a dam fine woman, but a lousy priest." Raised by her family for the live of working in temples, and it wasn't anything she particularly looked forward too. Too many rules, for no reward. She began to fear that she'd be stuck going through this until the day she died, even as a child. As she grew older, her need to adventure out and explore had became more and more focused. Life isn't worth living if there's no joy in it, and she spent a lot of time either avoiding work or trying to find new ways to do something about the boredom. Drinking, gambling, and faint rumors of possibly having a child, she really did just do whatever she wanted. She was never too well liked by the more disciplined inner circle for it and they made sure that despite her apparent seniority, she wouldn't be in it. While many newcomers still like her for being a sociable and fun person, much of the elders fear she's never learned to grow up. So she didn't mind it all that much when the sect was lost, but was left with torn feelings. There was still a lot of people who didn't really deserve what they got. Her belief stems from the idea that people need to be allowed to draw their own conclusions and do what's right for them, making her a believer that freedom matters more than rules. She doesn't know what next, but she doesn't care either, as long as it's fun. When offered, she won't stop at just one and will indulge if there's nothing immediately life threatening to prevent her from doing it. Untrained: Having spent much of her martial training avoiding sessions, she's not particularly skilled with most weapons and prefers leaving that work to other people than herself.

That doesn't quite tempt me as much as it would some others, but I get that I do have a history of playing characters of a more bestial nature. My main problem is that I simply don't want to bow out in the first couple of weeks like I normally do. I kind of have a long and sordid history of such. It's part of the reason why I took a break from RP's for a few months. I figured that i kept trying to force the issue and that probably wasn't really helping. Me too, Me too.

She was an accidental pregnancy and when her mother discovered that she was pregnant, she abandoned the Path to raise Cai. Although she never met her father, she grew up hearing stories from her mother about the fascinating abilities of Cultivators and when she became old enough joined as an outer disciple. Young and impulsive, she was eager to begin. She loves using spears the most, but can utilize her martial arts as well. She's a bit single-minded though and pretty much spends all of her time training. Flaws: Single Minded - Cai Xin is willing to take on any challenge no matter how dangerous it might be or how difficult it is. This can very easily get her into trouble as she overestimates her ability. Although I'm leaning more towards option 2... Spoiler Name: Yu Yijun Race: Beastkin (Wolf) Gender: F Appearance/Picture: Spoiler Heritage (Describe Disciple's origins and how he/she got into the sect.): Yu Yijun was an exile from her village who arrived at the sect after almost being killed by humans when she was discovered as non-human. With a fascination with the alchemical, she hoped to find a recipe that would hide her more bestial traits so she could easily blend in with others. Instead, she found the exact opposite. Once she recovered from her injuries, she joined as an Outer Disciple due to a desire to learn more about Alchemical Secrets. However, her quick temper and a lack of patience meant that she was prone to sneaking into places that she wasn't meant to get into to steal ingredients for her experiments. (Alchemy +2) Bestial Might: Spoiler A recipe that Yu Yijun stumbled onto by complete accident while trying to hide her wolfish heritage, this Alchemical formula enhances her Bestkin aspects dramatically. She grows larger, stronger, and more bestial but doesn't quite turn her entirely animalistic. This often results in wardrobe malfunctions. While her physical abilities are improved dramatically, it doesn't give her any added combat skill. Only more strength and claws to attack. Regeneration of Minor Wounds: Her first real success at the Sect was learning how to create a very basic recipe to heal wounds. Although not wondrous by any interpretation. It was the first recipe that she discovered through her own skill and not blind luck. -Artefact Crafting – Disciple can craft simple artefacts with one magical/special property. Things like a sword of enforced durability or sharpness, or flaming sword. (crafting requires materials that might be difficult to acquire) (Artefact crafting +2) Free time activities: (Choose two activities – one option can be chosen multiple times.) -additional training – the disciple was seriously hardworking. (starting random treasure, artefact or pill +1) Flaws: Bitch - While quite literally a Female Dog, Yu Yijun is also not the nicest person to be around. Her attitude often alienates those around her and makes it so that she really shouldn't be the one to give first impressions. She says what she thinks and doesn't afraid of hurting anyone's feelings. I'm leaning towards Yu Yijun, because she fills a niche that isn't o ccupied yet (alchemy) and beastkin. I was initially thinking of using the "Bestial Form" image as just her, but I'm pretty sure that if I did that, then I'd have to submit my Furry Card. It's something that I've been going out of my way to avoid for various reasons and as I was thinking more about the character, I decided that there might be a way that I could have my cake and eat it too and not be labeled as a fatty... I'm a bit worried that most of her skills are in things that will involve materials that will likely be difficult to acquire and she has no other real combat ability, but sometimes you just need to be a utility character. I don't hate Cai Xin and like the image of Nezha that I found to represent her and I could see some fun in her being headstrong and taking a dozen men at the same time...or "taking" a dozen men at the same time, but she's a general "I hit things hard" character.
I think Yu Yijun is better choice, you should play with character what you like and enjoy playing, so she is perfect.
Well, there are advantages to playing Cai Xin as well. She's a fairly simple person to roleplay. I wouldn't have created a template for her if I didn't think I wouldn't enjoy the experience. I was also thinking of going a more villainous route with Yu Yijun, because she would be the type....but I figure that could come later.

Though that didn't stop her from honing her martial skills on her free time. Before long, she was arranged to be married to the heir of a rival clan, the Tang's. Another warrior clan, but with more focus on the mystic arts, rather than martial prowess. Luo Fei was prepared to marry for the sake of her family, but once she met her betrothed, she was scorned. Not because of her lack of beauty, nor her lack of skills. The Tang family refused to proceed with the engagement due to her almost nonexistent amount of Qi. The clan of mystics fearing that any child she birthed would also be lacking, they threatened to break off the engagement unless Luo Fei managed to hone her Qi. Which made her family arrange for her to join a sect of cultivators. Hoping she'd be able to strenghten herself, and bring peace to their warring clans. Sadly try as she might, Luo Fei seemed to lack the ability to enhance her Qi. Until she happened upon an ominous book, which told of ways to steal Qi from others during sexual encounters. Thinking she had nothing to lose, she began offering herself during her free time. Eager to power herself up one way, or another. They look good! There is only one worry I have - the first pic of Yu Yijun. It might just be me being oversensitive with the rules about underage characters, but might you find a more... adult version pic? Besides that, I would accept both characters. Play the one which you will enjoy the most.
