MULAN Mulan was the fourth daughter of poor farmers in a small village in the mountain, under the protection of the Violet Cloud Sect. After the birth of her younger brother, she was given to the sect, where was the same student and servant as others, but hard-working. Her life as Outer Disciple of the Violet Cloud Sect has begun. As a simple-minded person, the nuances of more complex arts, like spells making artefacts, alchemy were difficult to learn for Mulan. So she spent her daily routines practising martial arts, becoming quite competent in the art. She also learned how to use artefacts to their fullest potentials. Even in the evenings, she continued to practice, fascinated by the way the artefacts could be exploited. Her fascination was slowly driven to fear - that she was not competent enough to be granted one of such treasures. She was, after all, one of many Disciples. That fear pushed her to sneak into the treasure room and steal. First, she took a bag of spirits stones, with a hope to buy such an artefact on the market... but then, as she was leaving her eyes fell on the old sword. Surely, no one would miss it? So she took a sword, she recognized as an artefact. Then, the night of attack of Bloody Fang Sect came. The chaos was great, as Inner Disciples fought against invaders, Mulan could see the difference in power between her and those who fought. Escape was the only option. As she made her way out, she was witness a battle between the sect Leaders, the powers of both of them were terrifying. Unable to escape easily, Mulan had to hide for some time. Eventually, when the battle was finished, and the invaders were busy with pillaging, raping and killing, Mulan managed to lip away. On her way, she stumbled upon the dead body of Cao Hui, The Violet Cloud Sect's leader. Suddenly, the spirit of the Cao Hui appeared before her. It spoke as she was defeated by her opponent, then fucked with usage of dark arts, by the Bloody Fang Sect's leader, until her opponent stole all of her Qi and lifeforce. As she was dying, her spirit was bound to her ring. It was a precaution, she made years earlier... On her orders, Mulan took her leader's ring and made her escape into the night... Some time after her escape, Mulan was instructed by Cao Hui's spirit and managed to breakthrough her limit and become a cultivator. She resumed her travel and meet an awakened beast in the forest, which she promptly slain - then harvested. As she travelled further, she came upon a mansion of Lord Kong Ru and his wife Lady Yi, as well daughter of Lord Kong Ru - Fu. The Lord, in celebration of Mulan killing a bear, started a feast. After the feast, Lord Kong Ru asked Mulan to get rid of evil spirit that inhabited one of the mansion's sections. His daughter, Fu, told her that the spirit was of her deceased mother, who was killed by her father and concubine. She also asked Mulan to help her achieve justice. Mulan, entered the mansion's abandoned section and confronted the evil spirit. She eventually managed to defeat her, and confronted her ghost - He Bo. He Bo, the ghost of the mother of Fu told a story of how the concubine found evidence of her trying to poison her, and report it to lord Kong Ru. Lord Kong Ru then decided to feed her her own poison, as a punishment. Despite it being a secret, her daughter had gained knowledge that Lord Kong Ru killed her mother. So, Fu resurrected her mother as an evil spirit. After hearing the story, Mulan freed He Bo. Then, she confronted the concubine Yi, lady Fu about the story. In the end, she decided not to tell the whole story to lord Kong Ru. After she received the payment, she left. She spent some time, under the waterfall, training and learning light jump technique. Then, she witnesses a battle between powerful cultivators. In the aftermath, Mulan looted the body of a combatant she found dead in place. But soon, she was surprised as two other powerful cultivators came to the site of battle... and started fighting each other. Mulan stayed a little to long at the place. The male cultivator defeated the female and left her in deadly trap. He captured Mulan, who swore her alliance to him. Small amounts, so no one knew. At one time, she even stole a ring that caught her eye. Then the faithful night of attack arrived - the night of the fall of the sect of Violet Clouds. Seeing the battle being lost, Tori led her followers to escape. They made their way through the treasury, where Tori grabbed some treasures and a 'pill of breakthrough'. Then, the trio made their escape... In the inn, they stopped in, Tori used the pill she had taken from the treasury, and became a cultivator. Soon after, Torii decided to take a job involving an evil spirit. The client was a lonely widow. They quickly established the reason for widow's nightmares. It was a talisman that someone placed, that slowly corrupted her. Impressed by Torii, the widow, Fu Dai decided to join her. Before leaving, Torri decided to do the second job. As she arrived at the place - a house on outskirts, she found an undead was there - resurrected via talisman. She promptly burned down the entire place, not even bothering with fighting the resurrected. She left the village with her companions and started traveling to the city. During her travels, they came upon a place of battle, but they quickly left it. Objects don't work or break even if brand new, and people find themselves in bad accidents, though it's usually much harder to do it on a person since that requires them to keep wearing it. Heat Protection: Protects from cold. Ignite: Assuming the talisman wielder can get close enough, this talisman functions differently as it's meant to be detonated to create an explosion on the attached object. It's notably stronger than a conventional fireball spell as something that takes time to prepare. Channel: Used as a conduit of magic power, where the talisman, in this case, has no particular ability of it's own, but if a user has the talent for it, they can use it to cast any spells they know through the talisman at a distance. Flaws: Heavy Drinker: Likely having way more of a built up taste for it than a priestess should, it's one of her traits. She won't take just anything anyone offers her...she's not falling for that again, but the question "You know that was supposed to last the week, right?" has been asked before. When offered, she won't stop at just one and will indulge if there's nothing immediately life threatening to prevent her from doing it. Untrained: Having spent much of her martial training avoiding sessions, she's not particularly skilled with most weapons and prefers leaving that work to other people than herself.
Luo Fei Born to a family of warriors, Luo Fei was trained in martial at a young age. But as she grew up, and her natural beauty blossomed. But soon, it became obvious that the battle would be lost and she would have to make her escape. So, Lou Fei took a breakthrough pill - something that would finally allow her to become a Cultivator, a bag of spirit stones and earrings from the treasury, and made her escape. She made her stay in the village that she found on the way. After paying the innkeeper, she ate a pill and meditated, finally achieving her long dream and becoming a cultivator. In her elevation, to test her skills, she challenge an Inner Disciple of Bloody Fang, Su Cheng - who arrived at the village, hunting for the survivors of Violet Cloud Sect. After a short but mostly balanced fight, Luo Fei lost to a more experienced fighter and was captured by her, bound her and threw her into empty shed. As she tried to free herself from the bondage, Su Cheng caught her and forced Luo Fei to eat her out. Thining quick, Luo Fei used her Dark Arts, Qi absorption to regain strength. When the time was right, she knocked out her captor. She then put Su Cheng into bondage, after which she started kissing her and absorbing her Qi, until the Su Cheng died. Unknown to her, as she drained the woman out of her Qi dry, Luo Fei corruption by the dark arts has begun... As she made her way through the forest, she encountered a traveller Zhu Hua and joined her by the fire. Lou Fei decided to join Zhu Hua in her travels. As the two arrived at the abandoned complex, with intention to rest, they were ambushed by Zhelan - a woman who seemed to know Zhu Hua. She was accompanied by assassins and mercenary cultivator. Luo Fei decided to help Zhu Hua against the attackers. She clashed with three assassins and defeated them. The duo continued traveling together, until they reached a mansion. Unfortunetly, the job Zhu Hua was after was already finished. The two were approached by Lady Fu - Luo Fei agreed to her request - to assassinate her father and his concubine, people responsible for the death of her mother. She dressed as a maid, and sneaked into the compound. Yu Yijun Yu Yijun was a wolf beast-kin, an exile from her village who arrived at the sect after almost being killed by humans when she was discovered as non-human. With a fascination with the alchemical, she hoped to find a recipe that would hide her more bestial traits so she could easily blend in with others. Instead, she found the exact opposite. Once she recovered from her injuries, she joined as an Outer Disciple due to a desire to learn more about Alchemical Secrets. However, her quick temper and a lack of patience meant that she was prone to sneaking into places that she wasn't meant to get into to steal ingredients for her experiments. She ended up stealing some spirit stones and using them to buy ingredients. On one occasion, she stole one of expanding pouches - an artefact in a shape of a small bag, that was capable of carrying as much as a large bag. She studied immensely the arts of alchemy and artefact crafting... yet her brash behaviour and blunt honesty left her alienated from others. As the sect was attacked, and it became clear that her home would fall, Yu Yijun made her escape. As she passed through the treasury, she decided to 'deny the enemies the treasures of the sect'. She took some spirit stones and a box with something rather disturbing. As she heard someone approaching, Yu Yijun made her escape into the night. On her way through the Ghost forest, she - not sure why - became a cultivator, for she remembered little from the time. She Arrived at the bandit camp, and seeing a beast-kin among bandits, she decided to join them. She approached the bandits and was taken to their leader - Lian Tao. The man decided to test her - he had Fu Hui lead Yu Yujin to the tent, where she would prepare medicine... * * * Skill Alchemy - 2 Artefact Crafting - 2 Known alchemical recipes: Bestial Might: A recipe that Yu Yijun stumbled onto by complete accident while trying to hide her wolfish heritage, this Alchemical formula enhances her Bestkin aspects dramatically. She grows larger, stronger, and more bestial but doesn't quite turn her entirely animalistic. This often results in wardrobe malfunctions. While her physical abilities are improved dramatically, it doesn't give her any added combat skill. Only more strength and claws to attack. Regeneration of Minor Wounds: Her first real success at the Sect was learning how to create a very basic recipe to heal wounds. Although not wondrous by any interpretation. It was the first recipe that she discovered through her own skill and not blind luck. Currency - 500 spirit stones Equipment: Expanding pouch - can carry far more than a normal pouch. Yi and Ya plants - Once consumed, the person who ate Ya plant could control the person who ate the Yi plant, making the other person effectively a slave. Flaws: Bitch - While quite literally a Female Dog, Yu Yijun is also not the nicest person to be around. Her attitude often alienates those around her and makes it so that she really shouldn't be the one to give first impressions. She says what she thinks and doesn't afraid of hurting anyone's feelings.
Cao The Cat-kin Cao was born in a beastkin village far from Human civilisation, Cao was cast out from his home at an early age, due to a particularly harsh winter. Only armed with a crude spear and clad in some furs, he managed to survive in the freezing wilderness, competing with hungry wolves for what little prey there was around. Unfortunately, he was found by a group of poachers before the winter had ended and they sold him to slavers. Taken away far from home, the young catkin changed hands several times, mostly having to do minor tasks. He resented his fate but bided his time until he could find a way to escape or earn his freedom. Eventually, he was sold on again and put on display at a slave market. He caught the eye of an inner disciple of the Violet Cloud clan and was bought to become an outer disciple of that clan. As a beast-kin, Cao's body is brimming with Qi and he was slowly instructed how to form it into spells. On the other hand, in exchange for teaching him spells he had to use his Qi to serve the clan. Primarily by sexual cultivation, using it to heal, cleanse and replenish the Qi of others and often simply to sate their urges. That treatment caused Cao to be distrustful - to paranoid level. Then the night of the attack came - The Violet Cloud Sect's base was burning. Cao, knowing he could not stand against the inner disciples of the attacking sect, made his escape. By accident, came upon the heavily wounded Violet Cloud's Inner Disciple. Not really thinking, acting instead, Cao grabbed the man and dragged him away from the battlefield, both of the men, disappearing into the night. Cao, managed to drag Yu Chao into an abandoned shed in the middle of the forest. Thanks to the tips he received from the wounded man, Cao was finally able to breakthrough and become a cultivator. As he was searching herbs for his companion, he was attacked by a fellow Violet Cloud Sect's survivor Cai Xin. Hayami Kosaka Hayami Kosaka, an orphan born to a dead father and unknown mother, raised in the slums, Kosaka drifted around when he grew into an adult. Finding work as a common thug, and later an enforcer and bodyguard, he made a tidy living for himself in the underworld. But after a failed job, he was forced to flee, pretending to be a penitent and taking sanctuary in the Violet Cloud Sect. For most of his time in the sect, Hayami Kosaka trained martial arts, with complete disregard for more... scholarly arts. He was also quite lazy, which made him seek the easiest and quickest paths to his targets. In his free time, he manage to make close acquaintances with two other students... after some time, the duo basically became his followers. He spent nights pleasuring other members of the sect and due to his skill, he became quite popular and even managed to gain the favour of Cao Hui, the sect's leader. But even as Hayami Kosaka's head was between Cao Hui's thighs, his tongue leaping on her pussy juices, he was scheming her demise. For the Bloody Fang Sect offered him riches and a powerful technique for the betrayal of Violet Cloud Sect. Quick and easy gain... He capturedand fucked Madam Yi to unconsciousness. He then made a deal with Cui Bi - one of Madam Yi's prostitutes. In return for 10% of earnings and some help from time to time, he installed her as new Madam of Brothel, leaving Madam Yi's fate in her hands. The next day, Hayami and his companions were ambushed by familiar thief and her companions. Wang Dang Wang was born as the seven son out of twenty others from a feudal lord. The feudal lord already has a talented heir and three other spares in case something happen with the main one. Somewhat annoyed by this turn of events, he told them to follow him quietly - which, to his surprise, the two submissively agreed. Soon, the trio left the burning Violet Cloud Sect. After questioning the two who bullied him, he accepted their reasons for obeying him. Deciding to stay in the cave to cultivate, before breaking through his limit, Wang decided to check the rest of the cave. In one of the caves, he found a house occupied by encountered an unknown woman. They exchanged a few sentences, but in the end, he did not manage to convince her to let him stay. As they left the place, the three battled an undead skeleton and defeated it.
