I think the premise is solid for a DC universe story. It really is. Or could be. But - youre making things really hard on yourself. You're changing up a lot of fairly fundamental characters and stories. Now, that might be fine... if there's a reason or a story or stories you want to tell. But, if not, of there's not, you're just making things harder on yourself (and probably the reader).
