Hello everyone, I quite new to Chyoo and even newer on the forums but I recently discovered (two days ago actually) the new feature of the new CHYOO and I must confess that I'm not thrilled about it. Beyond the fact that I will now have a much harder time connecting to my favorite CYOA site in public locations - and that pisses me off -, I kind of feel that maybe, not accusing anyone of course, but maybe, someone is using my work to make some extra money. I understand that making a site run is quite expensive and all but this ads are quite income producing (or at least were)... I hope you don't take this badly. Just wanted to express my feeling. Anyone else has an opinion on this
It is discussed here: http://forum.chyoa.com/threads/monetizing-chyoa.462/ The reason is to make the site financing itself. Other ways are discussed there, too. For public places I would suggest an ad locker, they work quite well. (But at private I would let the banners be active.)
