I will be honest. I don't know if this chapter makes any sense at all, but some people have upvoted it so mayhaps it has some merit to it. Also, this is something I consider one of my weirder tales due to how nonsensical it is. Cannot recommend actual Spanish speakers to read this out of cringe either. For context: The setting of the story revolves around communication apps such as Messenger, as the characters are living through the Pandemic. The goal was that, even if one of the characters are speaking in poorly-Google-Translated text and asterisks, dialogue from the other character would give clues to the reader as to what is happening. A practice in Context Clue for anyone studying grammar I suppose. I don't believe I've done a great job, but if you folks have any recommendations/suggestions on how to tackle something like this in the future, I can appreciate it... or just tell me that, something like this doesn't work that well and I should've just went along with the teacher speaking Spanish like what I first thought of. https://chyoa.com/chapter/The-Spanish-Teacher.1269944
I think it works well, but then again I'm learning Spanish exclusively by talking to Colombian Webcam models and using Google to translate. (I'm determined not to learn any of it in the conventional manner). I think I got just about enough of the language to follow the plot anyway.
