Is it possible to publish all unpublished chapters in a story all at once? Or do I have to publish each one individually? I like to post chapters in batches and it can get quite a lot to publish 20-30 chapters at once.
No, that's not possible at the moment. However, if a new story is published, all draft chapters that are attached to the story will be published when the story gets approved. In general, I would recommend not publishing many chapters at once as it reduces the visibility of the story on the front page. If you publish 20 chapters within a week (or day,) your story will get to the top of the Recently Updated list 20 times. If you publish all 20 chapters at once, it will get pushed up only once. (Though that's up to you and there might still be valid reasons to publish more chapters at once.)
Yeah, I realize you kinda shoot yourself in the foot visibility vise to do batch updates, but I feel the story flows better that way.
this thread is yet another reminder that "top ten all time" is a fine list, but it's almost completely stagnant ... and that "top ten last 30 days" would be much more dynamic -- and supportive of newer/active writers.
