This may have been asked and aswered already, if so I do apoligize, I wasn't able to find the thread. How do tags applied to single chapters get factored in? I just noticed the tags I put in my new chapters don't show under the "about" of the section of the story, and if I search for those specific tags using the serach function > tag:***** the story doesn't appear among the results. So it seems like those chapter tags are not getting taken into accout at all. Is this a bug or is it working as intended? And if so, may someone explain to me how to make them work/show? Thanks in advance.
If you publish a chapter (not save as draft), all tags of the story will be compared and written into the story's tag field. Searching for tags might not immediately show the result as they might be cached. (The same might happen if you remove a tag.) As far as I know, the about section should be updated instantly. What story and what tags don't work? (The tags of the chapter you published today are shown in the Tags section.)
They are, now. Don't know why but earlier today, a few hours after I published, the tags still weren't visible. It's fine either way, I don't care if it's just a matter of having to wait a few hours, I just didn't know if it was intended or not. Thanks.
