When you create / edit an chapter, it is possible to use the rich text editor. However, if i would like to edit the text in an external editor, and paste it into the content box again, i have to manually redo all the formatting. Is there a syntax available to pre-format your text? So that it automatically gets the proper look again if you decide to paste it from an external editor?
if you don't use the rich text editor, you can use markdown syntax. I think there are some converters for common word processing programs. That way you could copy the converted (to markdown) text to CHYOA. (I usually use markdown syntax directly, so I can't give recommendations )
Thank you, that was very helpful! I looked it up on google and it seems easy enough to learn quickly.
Oh sorry, i was with my thoughts somewhere else when i wrote that answer ;-) I actually meant, that i found a small guide to learn the concept: http://www.markdowntutorial.com/
This will help immensely! I have several chapters that have taken too long to write because on my touch screen I have to highlight and select from the pop up menu to change formatting.
I think, that the soft break (described on the site "Paragraph") is not needed on CHYOA to create a single line break.
