Greets and Salutations once again Sexual RPGer's. Perhaps you're familiar with my attempt at a fantasy RPG on the forum: Stories from the Grand Empire. It was fun, but over time interest waned for most of those involved. However, regardless of the results of this interest check, if the original players come back and show renewed interest. I don't mind picking it back up. However, it's time to move onward and GM again. I have a few ideas in mind that I'm going to leave to the consideration of those who would be most interested in playing. 1) Survival RPG - The first Idea that I have is for some kind of survival-type game. The players would be in a situation that would require them to survive(post-apocalypse, zombie, sci-fi stranded on a hostile planet, etc). This would be a pretty rough RPG overall and I probably wouldn't demand stat lines. It's the sort of RPG where if somebody shoots at you and you're out in the open and unaware, then you're probably going to have a bad time. It would be pretty grim where players could easily die and bad stuff could happen at pretty much any time. It's the kind of story where you probably shouldn't get attached to your character as opposing forces and even your own group members may do bad things to you out of self-preservation. 2) Demon Hunters Association - This is the kind of story that I was thinking of doing siteside, but I figured it might be more fun to do it as an RPG than a story. It's a low fantasy modern setting where creatures are essentially attempting to infiltrate and eventually take over the world from some sort of alternate world. Demon Hunters gain their powers from their alternate selves that live in this other world. I have a rough idea of the mechanics involved. Essentially the players will be low ranking or just starting out in this organization and they'll have an ability or two (and will likely be able to get more as the RPG proceeds). These abilities will be charged with magic. Magic energy is transferred sexually. Consentual increases energy for both partners. Nonconsentual increases energy for just the aggressor and weakens the victim. A victim with no energy dies. Obviously, the Demon Hunters Association is mostly interested in the consensual transfer of energy(Although, if a player wanted to play a not good demon hunter; as a GM I wouldn't say no. Just don't get caught ). 3) Stories from the Grand Empire Restart - This would essentially be a restart of Stories from the Grand Empire. New characters, new story, new everything. It would be the same themes and rules as the original SGE. 4) Stories from the Grand Empire Revival - Here, I would find a way to incorporate new players into the current SGE storyline and simply pick up where I left off. It's a bit weird though and would take some hand waving in order to get new players in and old players out. I would not kill off any of the original players though just in case they wanted to come back. Feel free to talk and discuss. I'd love to hear everyone's opinions!
i also woulnt mind doing revival or survivaal but as it stands I think the best idea is to just start a new one
I dont mind jumping in midgame, id need a quick summary of the important stuff but I could send in my character
For you and for anyone else who would like it, here's a brief summary of what happened Stories from the Grand Empire (spoilered for space): Spoiler Vi'lea (my character), Nicholas (Auraicide's) and Thritch (GenericEditor168's) arrived in the town of Athelney, each from a different direction: - Vi'lea got a room in The Quiet Bowl Inn, with a bit of effort seduced Meryl (one of the serving girls working there) and spent the night enjoying her company - Nicholas sneaked inside the home of some arrogant rich noble, saw his daughter bathing, and escaped before the guards could catch him - Thritch got a room at The Shattered Skull and saved the waitress from some guys that were harassing her Early the next morning each of them got a letter directing them to the same place: Some old ruins south of town. All three went there, met each other and the mysterious woman that sent the letters, and got hired to get her some wood from a vault inside the ruins. The place has been picked clean by looters so they just made it to the vault, got inside by using a key their employer provided, and searched the place. The only thing of interest to find was a raised dais and it seemed that the same key that got them inside could also be used there. That's as far as we got, since there were various interruptions during the game.
They range from like ghosts and like demon wolves to something more humanoid to something like a massive tentacle monster. It really depends on how powerful and how much magic they've absorbed.
I would like to take a part in this game, if of course you don't mind my bad English. I prefer demon hunter.
I'm going to wait another day or two before making a decision. Since it's a stalemate, I'll remove my vote if nothing moves the needle one way or another by then.
question before I change my vote.....may I ask what sort of character abilities we would or could have in demon hunter?and would all of our abilities be magical or would we have regular abilities to?
Demon hunter's association isn't high fantasy. So you'd all be mostly humans. You could have skills as a demon hunter that a normal person could do, but my hopes is that the RPG lasts awhile and while you'd only start with one, maybe two abilities, it would branch out into stronger ones later on. any kind of supernatural or unusual ability or appearance would have to be magical in nature though.
Well, it's looking like Demon Hunters Association is the victor. Hnestly, I would try to do both, but I don't know if I have the time to GM both of them. I'll start working on the intro and character creation info at some point in the next couple of days( I work basically all day tomorrow)
