I think there should be an option for authors to read their stories as though they didn't have any special permissions. There are two reasons for this: one is so that editors can test-play a story without having to acknowledge that "this chapter is linked to this other chapter" which is a fucking nightmare when you've set up a story so that character creation is done through linked chapters, the other is so that we can understand how our viewers will view it.
