http://existentialcomics.com/comic/175 This expresses in comic format and much more intellectual language something I have DONE several times in tabletop games. Orcs and Goblinoids have always struck a chord with me, they are sapient beings fully capable of choseing good over evil, but are forced into the orbit of dark gods and false prophets by the oppression of the traditional 'PC' races. More than once I have contemplated running a game where the PCs are all 'monsters' whose job was to unite the monstrous races to rise up against the true monstrosity of 'Civilized' hegemony and drag down their oppressors. Does anyone think a 'quest' story along those lines would interest them?
I am interested and maybe willing to contribute a side route depending on the exact execution. I would even try to calm my love for Humaliation and 'Rape' in favour of Lore and Storytelling. Be warned though, i would basically make a Dark Elf Prussian (Orcs are Fugly and not exactly fitting for porn).
Four things: 1. I would like it if, rather than just following a single path as laid out by the votes, later on (after the first path has finished, perhaps) the editor(s) would go back and make other paths (either for runner-up choices or for whatever they find interesting). 2. I would like it even more if you included Dwarf Karl Marx. In a non-sexual NPC role. 3. I already have a story along these lines (not going to cross-promote it here, if anyone wants to find it, just look at my account on the site.) 4. Dark Elf Prussian sounds... interesting, and much like what I'd like to do. Riding around in a dark and twisted forest cutting down the mortals with your saber as they try to flee...
@Funatic: This is how I am picturing the orcs in the story... So I respectfully disagree on the statement that orcs are ugly and not good for porn... Go right ahead with the Dark Elf character though! As soon as the story has been updated and published I will be quite glad to have you work on your own plot. Be warned however, you will have to "calm" your love for 'humiliation' and more specifically "Rape" A LOT: in fact to the point of non-existence. As with all my stories no descriptive rape scenes will be permitted: period.
I enjoy orcs alot, (especially the female ones *drool*) when they aren't portrayed as hideous, fat, pig-like monsters, or crazy grotesquely muscled mutated freaks. I like how they appear in D&D and other tabletops where they're varied almost as much as humans if just slightly more skewed toward the chaotic end of the spectrum. I've always sorta pictured goblinoids as rather stupid and evil by default though. Or comic relief... Captain Bumhook... heh.
I never write actual rape anyway. There is nothing interesting about a partner that struggles and cries. Makes my boner weak. I like the 'fake rape' stuff like 'Taking Emma Watson'. We will see about Humiliation though, because that can be fun without pushing the boundaries of consent. If these are the Orcs we are looking at i might be more inclined to get some involved. What i meant to imply however is that MALE orcs usually are not the handsome kind. I always imagine the Orcs from Elder Scrolls.
For some reason for male orcs I imagine Super Mutants from Fallout instead of anything else. Not even Orcs. My brain is bad.
I am generally not a fan of "always EVIL" sentient species in any fictional setting. With demons and such it at least makes sense (particularly if the setting has them connected into some sort of supernatural evil force) but with orcs and such you would assume that some of them don't fit the description because individuality. I think the latest DnD edition explains it so that the gods that control the "evil" races put a minor mind control into the minds of their races so that they are inclined to be evil (because they want to make sure that they have worshippers) while the good gods don't do anything like that to the species that they have created and therefore their members may turn out good, evil or a little bit of both.
