Pretty much explanatory. as much as some might complain and say that one should write only for the pleasure of it and not for score , awards , likes and viewership, I enjoy writting there because there are readers that read my stuff. the more reader i have , the more a few of them say they like it. the likes not only help us writter know what works and what doesnt, they also help readers get pointers towards popular writters and their work. be assured that I have no ill will towards RicoLouis and I wouldn't mind him being the top author on this site if it wasn't for the 9000+ likes he has, a few thousands of which are coming from those "poll" stories he had and deleted afterward. at some points I had been stuck for weeks under an author with more than 2000 likes but no story, chapter or award. in short, just as the down votes deletion have readjusted the story ratings I propose to deduce the likes acquired from chapters that have been deleted.
Actually just talked about this to Friedman about likes being removed when a chapter is deleted which is why I can never keep the poll running. I created a second name for polls and guides and such so it is separate from my writing account which I write stories on. If Friedman can set my score to reflect my score for my current stories I am fine with that.
Are there other contributors to your stories? Or did you already deduce the likes from their chapters? Like said before it's not against you but if there's a score it should be accurate.
no, unfortunately that would take longer then I have at the moment. Trust me i believe fair is fair. If Friedman are someone can figure it out they are welcome to adjust my score as they see fit. Granted I wouldn't want to go back to zero but I think my scores should reflect the work I put in. No more no less.
I wouldn't want you to go back from zero. Maybe they can do something to just count the likes of the chapters you have rather than the one you had. It is the suggestion part. I think as a whole the likes should be calculated on a dynamic basis, not just going up. An aggregate of the likes one has on his chapters, if a chapter is deleted so are the likes on it. I never imagined someone having to go with a calculator and add each chapter by hand, that would be insane.
Considering I have 21 stories, yes. Very insane. I can be a bit OCD but that is pushing it. I am currently looking through the Chyoa stories and trying to find which just need a little TLC and which are garbage. That will be hard to beat. I try not to judge people on their kinks but some things just have a WTF factor that is over 9000.
