Okay I brought this up as a new category but decided to go at it a new way? I got to looking and though teen stories have a 94% approval rating there are only 177 stories in the section. It gets overlooked by writers because it is at the bottom of the stories list. Even I have done it myself with two of my stories that should be in teen. I did a general search and got the following numbers. Teenager 28 stories Teen 191 College 312 School 430 University 45 Student 170 If you do the same search in the teen section you get the following. Teenager 6 Teen 37 College 10 University 4 School 57 Student 15 --- If you do a similar search for teacher you get 136 stories but only 2 of the stories are in milf. My suggestion would be to just move all the old teen stories over like we did with Fantasy though without creating a new category. Anything over a year so they have a better chance of being seen by someone looking for teen stories while leaving the more active stories where they are.
Teen could mean "young with young" or "old with young" Milf could mean "female old with young" or "female old with old" Teacher could mean "male old with young" or "female old with young"
Didn't say it would be easy. The main problem with the categories is the vagueness of them. What counts as erotic coupling and what is romance. What counts as mature and what counts as Milf. Should sex acts like group sex be a category or a tag? If I have a story set with two teens having sex with a teacher is it group sex, mature, teen?
I agree and think, that reorganizing the categories could be a good thing. I just try to provide clues what a categorization would say or what it wouldn't. I think these terms have a common intersection. For an erotic site, romance could probably be part of erotic coupling. For me, milf is female exclusive and somewhat implies a younger partner. Mature could be old with old, or old with young Exactly. So probably a question of Where? Who? What?
