I have, very occasionally, finished a large string of chapters that I don't want to publish all at once, but over several hours or even days. It would be nice if we could schedule chapters to publish on a feed, like the first one now, the second in an hour, the third in 2 hours, and so on... Would also be good for those times we want to take a vacation but have our story still update periodically while we are gone...

Debating whether or not the feature should extend to approving other authors chapters: thoughts?

that would be a good idea, that way im not tortured by having to wait for months for chapters to be added to my 2 favorite stories lol

Would help me a bit. I assume it'd be an optional thing.

I don't think that would be a problem. A story owner could be dickish and not approve it for 100 days, but they can already kinda do that.

I don't think that will necessarily happen. The author still has to write the chapters this would just allow them to delay publishing the chapter until a certain time or date (presumably when they wont be around).

If the most active authors publish their chapter evenly spread on the day, I think there would be not many gaps for less active author's stories. The stories which are currently in the first row for hours could then be in the whole list all day long.

I could also imagine that it could be used for spamming... so there should be some restrictions.

Though having that feature would probably make the perfect time to publish a chapter the worst time to publish a chapter.
