Hi, all! I have just posted the introduction to my new story on chyoa called Scouting Sexual Parallel Universes. Also I would love story suggestions or parallel universes I could visit that are majorly different in a sexual way.
It's a fun setup with potential, so I'll throw out a couple ideas: 1) You open with David living a "simple and normal" life, but it is neither. David is presented as an Ace character - he's handsome, virile, rich, successful in his field and with women already. So you may want to explore why he would risk that on a wild adventure to other universes. Is he getting bored of his current life? " And Alexander wept, seeing as he had no more worlds to conquer." Seeing a character like him visit a world where he is suddenly a loser would be interesting, how would he react? 2) As far as love story suggestions, I think it would be interesting if he kept meeting the same woman or women in these universes and how they've changed to adapt in each of them. If he falls in love with a woman, but essentially has to "choose" one of them to be with across these universes, how would he handle that? Perhaps he loves her in all worlds, but in his own she is unavailable. 3) Another possibility is that he uses his experiences in alternate worlds to help solve his clients' problems in his own. For example, he sees His World Jane as a patient in his universe, then sees Parallel Jane who is much happier and uses her choices as a model to help HW Jane. That would allow you to tie it back in an episodic format. Sees client -> Learns problem -> Travels to universe -> Discovers possible solution to problem -> Returns and tries it.
I love the ideas, with an almost inter-universal love story involving one guy and multiple versions of the same girl, similar in essence to the Harrison Sherloque Wells from Season 5 of the CW Flash who had married multiple versions of the same woman from parallel earths. As for the first idea, i may spread that along his chapters, slowly revealing throughout that his life had no adventure to him, no driving force for future goals and so it was an obvious choice of if he was gonna join the PDA, he just didn't know it himself. But as i mentioned that his new life as an agent would be a full time endeavour with the amount of time he would spend in these parallel worlds, he wouldn't have time to see his clients, never mind work on their problems. But then again, i may try to incorporate it in so i can have that sort of episodic chapter storyline.
