Shadow Hunter I enjoy the variety of different cryptid species threads that the story has collected. There is a lot of diversity in the writing, what I enjoy the most is the continuing threads where a cryptid may inspire Venus to submit sexually to another, but insists on continuing her mission. The one I enjoy the most is the vampire romance erotika threads. Here I wished to share something I have read recently about vampires. Indirectly or directly, authors build their vampires based on what Bram Stoker created. For instance, one could say even Twilight is because of Meyer's sensational disregard to the sunlight myth. Therefore I thought it would be interesting to share a different view based on occult hermeticism. John Michael Greer wrote a book title "Monsters" with an interesting biology of vampires based on occult knowledge instead of Bram Strokers. As I understand that version, vampires are a species of Fae instead of Demons. Their bodies are immortal and immune to disease; And manifest on the Aetheral Plane. Blood from a living organism is required to sustain their Aethereal selves. Therefore their bodies process Prime Material food but fail to gain sustenance from it. The closer the blood is to their own species the more it sustains them. I favor this view because its based on Hermetic knowledge instead of cryptid myths and legends. I also enjoy it because they are able to reproduce as sapiens. For that reason I enjoy Blade more too because of the vampire biology, I think.
Hey I just found this thread. Thank you very much for your praise because of all the stories I have (Though only two really took off), this is my favorite. I have tried to find interesting creatures from various mythologies to add in. I am a real fan of Japanese, Greek, and Norse mythology and those were a big inspiration for making this story. I know Vampires and Werewolves are actually quite common for erotica, so I wanted to try and touch on things that aren't mentioned as much. Some other writers have added things as well, like the kelpie, and those have really helped the story take off. 11Kestrels took an interest in the vampires too and has since added some great material to my last thread. I have plans for that thread though so I think I will branch off from what he did. I hope you will take an interest in both his work and mine. I didn't really go with Bram's ideas. I have seen the old Dracula movies but I drew a lot of inspiration from other books like Dhampir by Barb and J.C. Hendee. My Vampires can walk in the sunlight, just normally choose not to. They don't sleep unless gravely injured to help increase their natural healing abilities. They are able to eat normal food, but blood is what really gives them nourishment. Fire is their biggest weakness. Because they are "Undead" their skin burns easier than most other monsters. They can breed with humans but there is almost no chance of a one time lay getting the girl pregnant. I hope you keep reading and enjoying the story. I do have definite endings planned for several threads and some good stuff to come after in planned sequels so I hope you will like those too!
I like the vampire story line i hope for more like it i also like the seduction of the main character.
I'm planning to add more to Shadow Hunters today. I've been really busy with work and getting holiday stuff done so I haven't had time to update any of my story lines today. I've got ideas for the Vampires, the Orcs, the Inari arc, and the Demon Hunt arc and hopefully I'll be able to get at least some of those up today or tomorrow. What is the story name? I've never added to anyone else's story but I'll give it a try if you'll add on to mine a little too. Lol I've been meaning to try adding on with someone else I just don't like the idea of screwing up the story if that isn't something the original writer had in mind.
