Hey guys, While ago, I discovered that once an idea gets inside my head, the only way to get it out and get back on track with what I was previously working on is writing it down. So here we are, this is the intro chapter of a story I will most probably never write. I suppose I can share it with you. "Demons. They exists, albeit techinically they don't, in our reality. Thier dimension, Hell, lays on a separate layer of existence from us. Invisible, intagible. Since the birth of humankind though, hundred of thousands of years ago, Demons have been attracted to our plane of existence. To hunt us, to feed on our essence. Early on, driven by their craving, they managed to find a way into our world. They seeped in, only a few at a time, rather than breaking through in full force. It was a slow, erractic process. At first only the strongest managed to survive undamaged the passage. Weaker demon were left, scarred, changed, impaired. Then, as humankind grew a little older, and started to meddle with arcane energies, things changed. Witchcraft, demonology, sought to command and enslave demons for their incredible powers. The hunters had became the hunted. Centuries ago, the most powerful among demons were enslaved, banished, or worse destroyed by human arcanists. A full fledged war, at its peak. Won by humans, nonetheless. It was common in the depiction of a seventeen century witch, to portray also a pet, a black cat, a crow, a snake. Enslaved demons, tokens of victory. But in time, demons learned too, they apprehended the way to traspose their essence into that of lesser-willed creatures while retaing control over their powers to pass the barrier between worlds unscathed. Humans instead forgot. They began to forsake stories of old, to think of them as fairy tales. Now, in the present day, crowds of demon walk among us unchecked, hidden under the looks of harmless Persian cat or tiny Pincher toy dog. Only few hunt then, they call themselvs Hunters." There are some obvious similarities with Pokemon, but they are pretty shallow. Story would have a more dark and gritty feeling for once, with death, blood even eventual non-con sex. I don't have to explain that demon feed on human through their emotions, especially pain and pleasure, and sex is the preferred way to draw these emotions out. Demons would have some of their powers, like shapeshifting, telekinesis, but most of them(the most powerful ones) would be locked until later stages of the story. The prospective would be that of a young girl/guy, who contracts or enslaves one these demons. The development could be that of a hunt(gonna chatch 'em all), or rather that of story of survival where other demons, or possibly demon hunters with their pet, come to hunt the MC with her/his pet. What do you think of it? Also, is there already something like that out there?
Sounds like a cool idea. A lot of CHYOA stories don't bother with considering the ramifications of a concept to a societal level. Even if the consequences you've presented here aren't strictly realistic, what you've written has persuaded me that a deep, nuanced world does - or could - exist with these ideas. In other words, most stories on CHYOA get this far: and stop there. You, however, have managed to take that in a remarkably interesting direction. My only concern is that there had better be a lot of shapeshifting. I don't want anyone having sex with a talking crow.
I don't think I've read a story like this; it's an interesting hook. It feels like it's got potential through the mix of debaucherous sex scenes this ought to provide and then the customizable element of the writer being able to use whatever demon they want. A step further, it may even have a collection or progression element! Might be a little dark for me-- not too into violence and non-con myself-- but it does sound like a good idea.
Glad you liked it. Of course, this is just an intro, and my development suggestions are just that, suggestions. That would be silly, but there are degrees of that I'm willing to consider I think non-con could be worked out of the equation , leaving the sex just as a way to "bond" with your new demon pet. Violence could be as mild as a fighting story permits. Still, it's chyoa story, everyone can have it's slice of it!
Interesting idea. You might have to find appropriate victims or willing participants to mate with your demon pet to get it to develop its abilities, whereas having sex with it yourself could be more for maintenance of its/your urges.
