It was Oishi's Yuka convoying mission number 72. She was former military officer who was kicked out of the Imperial Navy few weeks after her husband's death. It happened not only because her husband died after disobeying a direct order and losing a cruiser with all hands but also because Admiral found about her lesbian relationships with Horie Kiko. She managed to get a job in Imperial Justice Division but instead of commanding a cruiser, she was appointed to an outdated light transport which was modified for carrying convicts Yuka had a feeling that something will go wrong right from the start of this seemingly routine mission. It started with a weird replacement of one of her crewmembers with a woman named Rinko Tash. She was appointed by a direct order of Yuka's superiors who usually didn't bother with such minor appointment. Then she learned that one of the four convicts is her former husband's friend who got convicted for raping a superior officer and a few other things. He became a source of her downfall. He reminded her who she was. He reminded her about her ambitions. He reminded her how much she hates her current job. And most importantly, he reminded her how it feels to love a man. Another convict, former pirate ship captain, Himiko have Yuka an idea what she should do. She decided to hijack the ship and become a pirate together with her newfound love. It was easy, too easy. Chief of security, Horie Kiko was more than a friend, even more than a lover. She agreed to help Yuka even if it was obvious that she is far from happy from betraying the Empire. Pilot, a young graduate from one of the numerous pilot academies was a coward and a weakling. He was quickly overpowered and thrown in one of the free cells. The same happened to Aki, ships medic. But the new one, Rinko, was a very different story. This woman nearly defeated Horie Kiko, former Imperial Marine in a hand to hand combat... Future interrogation, conducted by Oishi Yuka herself revealed the truth. She was an assassin hired to kill Bozuk before he would be out of reach on Uruk IV. Then Yuka and Horie Kiko released convicts. Each of them was more than happy to start (or in Himiko's case continue) a career in space Piracy. Jack, Yuka's husband friend, quickly became the leader of the group and got elected as a captain. It was his idea to give each of convicts a slave, as a small bribe to ensure loyalty. Bozuk received the woman who was sent to kill him, Himiko requested the medic, Aki, and Kayla got what was left - the pilot. But Jacks's captaincy was short. Two days later Yuko found Horie Kiko in Jack's room. Her lover, friend, a willing servant was standing above the corpse holding a bloody knife in her hands. "I did it for you. He would hurt you, again. I am ready to accept any punishment you want" _____________ Now, after losing their first captain, the pirate crew had a number of decisions to make. Their ship was underpowered for doing any kind of bold attacks but they did have options. After some heated discussions, they decided to... A1) Stay in the current system hunting for automated transports and other soft targets. A2) Set course to Chintoka IV, small abandoned mining colony now home for illegal slave market (3 days away, opportunity to sell slaves, an opportunity for misc jobs) A3) Set course to Aleran III, Terran planet with sporadic agricultural settlements. (Local inhabitants can be interested in slaves or they can be raided for more slaves and other loot. Landing will do damage minor damage to the ship because navigational shields can't fully protect during reentry. 8 days away) A4) Set course to Deranga system, pirate hub (15 days away, access to the local black market, opportunity to join a pirate faction, risk of becoming a prey) They also needed to decide what to do with the corpse B1) Dump it into the space B2) Keep it in stasis in the medbay Finally, they needed to decide who will be the new captain C1) Oishi Yuka C2) Himiko the Sureshot C3) Bozuk C4) Kayla Raynes C5) No captain

Never mind, that as far as she saw it, she never really needed to be saved in the first place. She was still a mercenary and would just work for whatever paid...but the thing is, this wasn't a contract. There were no funds to be paid with. So what? Did they really expect her to just smile, take a look at the woman and her crazy bitch lover and say "For your lesbian crush, I'll go to hell and back!" Boys with boys, girls with girls, it didn't matter. It just wasn't reasonable to assume that she'd happily go out of her way to die just for the sale of their relationship. Especially with the notion she'd do it for free. This put her as something of the dissenter, but she didn't see her objections without reason. This wasn't just some highschool cliques of not sitting at the cool table. They wanted to be pirates and raid ships. These weren't exactly the most upstanding people to begin with...not that she hadn't been hired for similar stuff before. But the Silver Lining always held some semblance of pride of preferring to take contracts for the greater good if the option was presented, instead of supporting slavers and drug dealers. They'd still take the money when it presented itself. So, no promise of money, adequate weaponry, or really...anyone who came off as acceptable to operate as mission control. If she had to choose, she'd rather support the former pirate, since she had it before...obviously, she couldn't have been stellar at it if she ended up in the same prison transport, but it was better than backing someone with zero experience in command and assuming it would all work out just because they really want to. Besides...if they started pissing her off too much...there was always mutiny. She'd hold off on doing anything just yet, but without established contracts, they hadn't laid out any rules for her to follow. They just assumed it. And they handed her that pilot assuming that some kind of bribe would keep her happy....what the hell was she going to do with this? She wasn't a rapist and they had to have seen it made her visibly uncomfortable at the implications she'd sell someone into slavery. She had no problem shooting people or being paid off to guard the ship. Selling people on the market was exactly the kind of thing she fought against those stinky lizard fucks for back when she was still an actual soldier. They wanted her to shoot at people and defend the ship? Fine. But again. Nobody had actually hired or paid her for anything. Her "payment" was that little runt of pilot....and they couldn't even do anything with that one yet. They still needed someone capable of flying ships at least until they could bring on someone better and more trustworthy than a hostage. So Kayla was left trying to be as friendly as a abrasive merc could be, realizing it was a bad idea to piss the pilot off. Wordlessly, excusing herself and just choosing to flash a look of grumpiness at the rest, she went off to check in on the pilot.

Himiko was in her quarters, sitting in a chair, naked. Aki, just as naked, was on her knees between her legs and eating her out. Oh, I editted my post to have my character doing things if you didn't notice. I figured she'd go talk to the pilot or something. There really wasn't much describing anything involving him or Kayla to go off other than she problem seems him as a bit of a weak nerd boy in her mind, from what I can tell. With the decision making over, and nothing else to do. Bozuk heads to where his former assassin was locked in. After all, it was time to break in his new toy... (Will edit, or just post again depending on how he rolls on taming Rinko.)
Yuka stud stunned, looking at the carnage in front of her her eyes slowly turned to look at Kiko, her eyes hot with furry. "What, have you done!?" Yuka walked up to her long time subordinate and friend. "I am happy that you accept the responsibility for what you have done because there will be consequences. You cannot imagine how that treason of yours hurt." She grabbed the younger woman by the chin. "You have trampled over my thrust to you, you have practically spit on a relationship. Since you have broken that bonds between us, they are no more." She grabbed the woman by the hair. " For killing the captain, you are degraded to slave... You will be tattooed and collared with a shock collar. You will be given drugs that will heighten your arousal and trained as a sex slave... from now on, I will be your Mistress... understand?" Yuka slowly brought her subordinate to her knees... and she could not see anything but compliance in her eyes.
There were no debates regarding who will be the next Captian. Yuka got her position back with little to no opposition. Surely, that position was quite nominal. This wasn't the Imperial Navy and expecting perfect discipline would be a naive thing to do. The body of the former captain was dumped into space, even if some crewmembers would prefer to sell his body on the black market, Yuka couldn't use the corpse of someone who was dear to in this way. Yuka's first decision was to start hunting now. She knew that it won't take long before Imperials will investigate why the transponder was shut off and opportunity to hunt in this safe system will be lost. Yuka gave her orders to look for a suitable target and left the cockpit to focus her efforts on punishing her now-former friend and lover. Medbay had some basic drugs that could be used for changing someone's mind on a chemical level and captian Oishi had some ideas. Bozuk decided to do a similar thing but with a much more direct hands-on approach. His slave was anything but tame and the pigman received a fair share of bites, scratches and kicks. Rinko's will to resist was strong and Bozuk found they breaking her won't be easy. Himiko, Kayla and their slaves stayed in the cockpit. Himiko was operating sensors, she knew few tricks that could help to find some loot, Tero was piloting, Kayla was monitoring her slave to not allow him to do anything stupid and Aki was just sitting there, visibly terrified by all the sounds that could be heard from the cell in which Bozuk had his little fun with the assassin. After some time Himiko found several promising targets and reported them to the captain. This yacht had no powerful enough reactor to sustain prolonged fire but her lasers weren't much worse than one could see on Imperial fighters and were more than capable of melting aluminum alloy right through navigational shields. It was time for the decision.
