Hello, I am new to this site and considering that there are a lot of stories on it, i was wondering if someone could recommend some stories to read; primarily stories from genres like erotic couplings, adventures, swinging, group sex, historical settings, sci-fi and fantasy and possible others. I am asking this, because i have spent some time reading some stories on Literotica and there are also a lot of stories there. First of the ones i would say you should read: Fantasy Dynasty as a pretty good start. It has choices, an interesting storyline, sidebranches, and so on. A fantasy story about the dynasty of a kingdom. It's pretty much in the title. Bosom Buddies is a story with pretty much only a singular path. It's about a nerd turned popular guy. Kind of a coming of age story with lots of sex. Pretty long and pretty good. Happy Maid is also very good. A couple decides to get a service called 'Happy Maid' to no longer bother with cleaning and all that junk. They might be a bit more to it though *Que dirty smile*. Now the stories i add to. Normality. People get their hands on items that let's them manipulate social norms. It's mostly anime-fanfiction. do or do not. To Prove Superiority is a fantasy story set in the world of Estara where women are the dominating gender. And i don't mean numbers wise i mean that all states in this world focus around women and men are generally seen as inferior. The characters aim to prove otherwise. Bit of non-consent and stuff. I write the Uklag branch. Stories ot Atlarcton. TLDR: Alxer is the one true god and his followers live on a continent, here is status quo, here are characters set into that status quo. Now go. Stories I have listed under "favorites" are: Witch's Curse - by @Fiftyfiftyfifty - Nice use of game mechanics in a mix of modern world/fantasy about the challenge for a young man NOT to cum. Interesting characters as well. At the cabin - A staggering labyrinth of 1700+ chapters, focusing a lot on character development. Story of a group of friends spending the weekend in a hut. Very impressive work which has created several spin-offs. Less sex than other stories, more romance, but really good in terms of character focus. The shining stone - started by @hematoma - 800 chapters in a fantasy world, heavily infused with magic and mystical creatures. You can choose between two characters at the beginning (the rest of the options is not fleshed out). A fantasy dynasty - started by @merkros - Very interesting project which follows a whole dynasty of succeeding characters in a fantasy/medieval world. The world-building is very nice and quite consistant throughout the whole story. And, in terms of shameless self-advertising, I'd like to add one of my stories: The Invitation - Story which tries to use the "game mode" in terms of making you choose limited options based on your current stats. It's a rather bdsm themed story, following a man who is invited to a mysterious party where he can interact with people and will end up being influenced either as a dominant or a submissive. Story is still in development, and actually open for submission, although sadly so far nobody else contributed.
Anything by Hematoma is probably a good start. The stories are nice and long and reliably well-written, with lots of varied content, from slightly rapey fantasy to light-hearted standard-issue couplings. Gunde´s stories are a fun time, if you like really over-the-top depictions of sexual prowess. Tagging is very hit or miss on the site, but if you´re looking for a particular fetish or act, you can always search for stories like that.
