Hi, I've posted a lot of content for a new story, and I was just finally ready to publish the first sequence, but not the entire thing. I hit 'Approve' on only the chapters I wanted published, and the story just got approved (Thanks!). But it looks like everything got published? If possible, could you unpublish everything from here on: https://chyoa.com/chapter/Head-to-the-inn.339510 How should I approach this in the future? If I do something with a lot of stat changes, I'll want to test a lot before publishing. Should I have just published the Intro with a "Still Working" message? Thanks
Either someone got to this immediately, or something was displaying oddly on my phone. I got the notification that that my story was approved while I was out. In the map, I didn't see any "Not Published" message, and when I went in to edit, it was just "Save", no "Publish". So, either something was displaying oddly on mobile, or a moderator is FAST!! (Thanks!)
Hi obieblu_tumblr, I've unpublished the chapters. It's probably the easiest to make a note at the beginning of the story. Then I or other mods know immediately what to do
Oh, one other odd thing. Before you unpublished, it listed as only 17 chapters and only 5 chapters deep, which is what I hit the 'Approve' button for. That was part of why I wasn't 100% sure of what was visible to all.
Unfortunately when you publish a story it publishes everything. The chapter count can be off at times if you are adding or taking away stuff. I have gotten a minus symbol once after deleting a bunch of threads.
