I'd like the option to configure via user settings a universal first and last name for customizable games. It would also be nice if story-specific customizations were persistent. I'm guessing they're stored in a cookie with a very short shelf life? As it stands, after some time the customizations are forgotten, even if the browser and tab with the story remain open. It can be really awkward when changing to a new chapter and things revert to default.
This would be useful, but it would be unreliable between stories since authors may name their customisation variables however they like. Also, names often aren't comparable between stories, where the protagonists might have different genders, nationalities or even species. An improvement to the cookie system (if that is indeed how they are stored) would probably suffice.
Yeah, didn't think of that. It would require some enforced standardization of variable names, which I guess can't be expected at this point.
