I am looking for some feedback and commentary as well as advice about the vandalized story I took over about a week ago called Sweet Lickings As you will see if you wander around the story most of it was left in the following format: Thread Title: 'None' Thread Body: 'Deleted Story' Question: Blank, reverting to 'What's Next?' or '?' Finding the story thus I did what I thought was a good thing and petitioned Friedman to take over, however as I went through the tale with fire and sword bulldozing the wreckage and overwriting it with my own content, a fun little tale if I do say so myself, I was approached by one of the old contributors who queried why I had erased his content and replaced it with my own, to which I explained how I had found the tale and what I had done, and while he was nonplussed at finding that his good work had been destroyed I also feel guilty about putting my words into a thread that is marked as belonging to him: not to mention those of all the other people who had submitted their content to the tale ere it's previous owner vandalized it. Now I come to you, the community, wondering what I should do here, Create a new story and move my content over, then 're-vandalize' the tale and ask Friedman to erase it entirely, or finish the work of 'Bulldozing' the ruins of the story and building atop them with my own content: hoping that the old contributors will all be as understanding as the first one...?
I'd hate to make SlidingInSilk's credit disappear, but it's true there's basically nothing left of her original story line of young women getting frisky as they close down an ice cream shop on a stormy night. The thread content was scrubbed out from the old site, and I don't know if she's active as a writer.
