I know we have owners and editors but is it possible to create a “tagger” who can ONLY add or edit tags to a story? I think authors would be open to letting someone do the story tagging for them and thus letting a lot more stories get into the search system if it was more simple than wholesale allowing a new editor.
As tags are often just a mess or a collection of all tags which are possible, I'm not supposed to the idea in general but think it won't be feasible. Tags refer to chapters and if the average chapter length is only about 250 words, you would have to read about 75,000 words per day (currently, about 300 chapters get published every day) That's about the length of a novel and you might need about 4.5 hours to read that.
I think you've misinterpreted a bit, he means a level between author and editor where a person can edit one stories tags, but can't edit anything else except their own work or approve new chapters...
