Had this idea and started writing it but realized I would like some feedback before I go much further... What's the general opinion? Where would you like to see this go?
Umm... maybe not limit yourself to only tentacle-aliens? Add that later there were other races who could mate with human females - Asari (only female race of blue skinned alien babes), Cat aliens, pure energy beings, slime-aliens, dildo-like worm aliens, etc. That would attract more of audience/writers. Is there any connection to Warhammer 40k? I mean the date is 44k, so...
Honestly, while the dates are vaguely similar, I didn't and don't plan on any sort of 40K tie in. Originally I was going to have the date be 4,444: but realized that this was far to early for the Y chromosome extinction to occur. The idea of multiple sapient species of Aliens had occurred to me, but I don't want this to be just like every other Sci-Fi story with dozens of races that are basically humans with weird heads or abnormal skin colors. So, as some examples: 1: the blue-skinned race of lesbians; no, they're just humans wearing makeup... 2: the cat-folk aliens; slight maybe; but they would have to, (for example,) have heads like lions, vaguely human-ish torsos, (but with four arms and eight nipples with very small breasts,), lower bodies like a tiger, and think like a sapient lion pride. 3: the dildo worm aliens; definite maybe, but they would probably have to be the result of human genetic engineering that wasn't supposed to be sapient and have very strange thought patterns... 4: the slime aliens: distinctive possibility, but again, they would have to be truly alien in their thinking, which I'm just not good at. Also, It seems odd to me that so many sapient species of Aliens would be found in only a few hundred years when none were discovered for something like ten thousand years before that, though I suppose the timeline could be altered...
