Testing a story's conditionals

    Hello.

I am testing conditional branches within a story I am writing. Specifically, I am playing around with the "Conditions to view this chapter" option. I see that when certain conditions aren't met, I can't access that chapter, which is to be expected.

However, I can see that the chapter is visible and that the link is just "greyed" out.

My question is, can readers see chapters that they've not met conditions for, and it appears greyed out as well? Or do they just never see that chapter in the first place?

    Thank you.

It appears greyed out to me whenever I try it. I don't know if I can access them from the tree or something but from the chapter pages I cannot.

    Hi Tip,

Thanks for responding. I can't access the page whose conditions I do not meet, which is what I want and expected. But what I am curious about is, are those chapters visible to the reader also like they are to me?

So, for example, let's say I have a page whose condition for visibility is that I have a score value equal to 100.

Let's say a reader never meets that score value, and they get to the end of the story where if they had a score value equal to 100, they would be able to access that page as a potential story branch. Since that reader's score doesn't meet the required conditions, can that reader see that page as a list of potential branches that they can access? Or, do they see the page, but because their score isn't 100, they just can't access that page?

tldr; I know that they can't access the page; I just want to know if they can see that page / branch or not.

They will see the chapter, but it will be greyed out and un-clickable.
