This is the topic for discussion of my story 'Cabin at Silver Lake'. It's an alternate version of my other story 'At the Cabin'. I felt it warranted a new story because the Story Map on the other story is already too big and I made a few changes to the characters that made them a bit different from the other version, so in the end, I thought it was best this version had its own space. Some of the changes I made: 1. Decided to start the story with the characters getting ready for the trip, so I could introduce them and their personalities in a better way. 2. A rework on Zack's character. I decided to remove the crush on Victoria because it put too many restrictions on writing him and to explain his reasoning if he went for another girl. The result is what I believe to be a more consistent character, confident and funny. This also helps to not make his and Gavin's character too much alike. 3. The two halves of the gang got together a year ago, instead of two, the same being true for how long Brandon and Ashley are dating. 4. Brandon's character will be a mix from 'At the Cabin''s version and 'Azure Rocks Chronicles'' version. He will be a good guy, friendly and all, but he's also prone to being a jerk sometimes, especially when things don't go his way. 5. Madison Cole will be a bit different from the version introduced in 'At the Cabin'. 6. There's a completely new character who wasn't in any of the previous versions, Nicole Hall, or Nikki as the gang calls her. She's a lesbian who just broke up with her girlfriend, I think she'll be a really good way to spice things up once they are at the cabin. That's it, I guess. Sounds great. Maybe Nikki will end up having a fling with some or all of the girls. It would be funny to see a fling or relationship between Nikki and Vicky. Can't wait to see how this develops. Hopefully Gavin will also have more succes with Heather (if he still has a crush on her) or with one of the other girls
Thanks! Nikki will definitely be on the prowl now that she's single, although she probably wasn't expecting to target her friends. I can say she'll have a more serious involvement with at least one of the other girls. Gavin has a crush on Heather on this version as well, I have great plans for him here.
Posted a new thread introducing Victoria's mother. I changed the Walkers' background from the previous versions so it can fit the new story better. Soon, we're going to meet Gavin's mom as well.
have to say an unexplored area of the cabin, is the characters parents. quite a few milfs in the bunch
LOL, that's right! In 'At the Cabin', I only introduced Zack and Heather's mothers, but in this one we already had Gavin and Vicky's as well. I have the other characters' parents imagined, but I don't know if all of them will appear.
Thinking about making a small change in the background in the first thread. It occurred to me that it could be an interesting change if Zack and Ashley had a little relationship when they were 14~15, being each other's first boyfriend/girlfriend before drifting away. They wouldn't have told anyone, but maybe Taylor and/or Hannah figured out at the time. Then, when they get to the cabin, living together in closed quarters like that might open the possibility of reawakening some old feelings.
I think I'll do something like what I've outlined in my previous post, but I'm still planning in my head how it's going to affect the other storylines, especially Zack's crush on Hannah, which is a must for me in every version of Zack's character.
my 2 cents on this, and probably close to your thinking anyway, is that they had a thing but didn't go very far. the less they did the more the interest between them and the reader as to what they might do now that they are older and given the chance. Maybe that even plays into his hannah crush, maybe that was part of his motivation in dating her at the time, but now he sees her as her own woman
It's a good idea, and yes, something I already had thought, more or less, to have the brief affair with Ashley and the crush on Hannah being somewhat influenced by each other. I still need to decide between Vicky or Ashley for lead girl, though, since I'll only put those changes into motion if I pick Ash, because otherwise it'd only complicate things unnecessarily. I'm working with the following scenarios: 1. Zack gets involved with Vicky, Hannah and Ashley, with Vicky being endgame; Gavin ends up with Heather; Brandon and Ashley get back together and Chloe and Nicole become fuck buddies. It has two epilogues, one with a threesome scene between Brandon, Ashley and Hannah and another with a second threeway scene between Zack, Victoria and Vicky's mom, Olivia. 2. Same as above, but with Gavin ending up with Madison and Brandon and Heather becoming fuck buddies. 3. Zack gets involved with Ashley and Hannah, with Ash being endgame; Gavin ends up with Heather; Chloe and Nicole become fuck buddies; Brandon manages to seduce Victoria and they end up dating. One epilogue scene with a threesome between Zack, Ashley and Hannah. 4. Same as above, but with Gavin ending up with Madison and Heather ending up with Kurt. 5. Same as number 3, but with Gavin ending up with Madison, Heather and Brandon becoming fuck buddies and Dustin showing up to restart things with Vicky. Of course, those are just overviews, there'll be scenes with other characters too, such as Kurt, Taylor, Mary Moreau and maybe Jennifer.
tough choices, in the main thread i've been working on been trying to build to Zack choosing between Ashley and Vicky. I know Heather has become a popular option and a very well written option, but to me has always been between those two
Got to say this option appeals to me the most right now, for featuring all the storylines I like. To eliminate Zack's crush on Victoria was a good decision, in my opinion, and it allows for a more natural progression of a potential relationship between them, the good guy and the good girl finding each other after a few adventures. The crush angle works better on Gavin/Heather, the underdog geek getting the girl of his dreams, the cheerleader captain and most popular girl in the school. Brandon keeps trying to spice up his relationship with Ashley in ways she's not comfortable with, with him only realizing his mistake after she breaks it off, allowing for a few individual adventures before they set things straight. Between Kurt and Nikki, Chloe would realize her hidden sex drive is stronger than she thought. And there's also Madison, Taylor, Hannah, Mary and Jennifer to round up the cast, with special appearances by some of the parents.
Sounds great, but it will also be cool if Gavin ends up with Taylor and has a threesome with her and Heather or if he ends with Heather maybe the two of them can have a threesome with Taylor. But like i said, it will also be cool if Gavin ended up with Taylor. It would be great to see the dynamic of the relationship between the two of them and Zack's reaction to he's shy best friend dating his big sister.
It's a possibility as well. Regardless of the outcome, I'm planning at least one scene between Gavin/Taylor and a threesome with Gavin/Heather/Taylor.
