There is a question I would like the players input on: would you prefer that if I check on the thread and there are unanswered posts I post a reply if I feel up to it even if I have already made a post today: the limiting factor being the 1/day hard cap on player posts, or should we keep it to a 1/day hard cap for the GM (Me) as well as the players? The default position on this question is keeping it to a 1/day hard cap for everyone, and a majority of the participants is required to change that position: however my vote stands with changing this rule to allow me to respond slightly more often IF I feel up to it.
Honestly, I feel that we should all be able to post more than once per day, but with the knowledge that you will only be posting once or more as you see fit. Especially if players are in the middle of a conversation. Say that me and Moonblack are talking. You wouldn't necessarily need to post at all during that. We could have our people stand there and talk about their lives and histories and that wouldn't' affect the story at all. We simply couldn't advance the story until you post.

I see your point but also point out that in the other games, the pace has been set by the gm posting for both Hematoma and my game. A conversation can only go on so long without a GM and I doubt it would every get above 10 posts without a very good reason. You can only talk about so many things lol and plus we each have limited time on here so we can't do more than a few posts unless you are in a situation like mine where I am out of work on leave.
If there are 30-40 posts they are very likely to be short, 1 or 2 sentences long. Plus it's highly unlikely that we'll ever get that many.
Have ether of you ever heard of a little site called 'RPoL'? I used to play in games there where 20-30 posts per day was a conservative estimate: on days when the GM had SAID they would not be around. Besides, I am looking to the future as well, when we hopefully will have more players, conversations can get much longer the more participants you add. Anyway, I have already taken my nighttime medications, so I can't guarantee a post before some time this afternoon E.S.T. but I will start work on it tonight.
OK, I am somewhat uncomfortable continuing the story without the profiles of the companions being in the lore thread to be adopted by new players, but they are proving a bear to write, what do the two of you think about helping me write them?
