So, I was thinking about maybe writing a full Digimon erotic story or perhaps just some "scenes from the anime turning sexual" kind of story. But then I started wondering, "Do Digimon pass the Harkness Test?" Digimon are fully sentient, can talk and communicate normally like humans, and higher, adult level Digimon look mature and are old enough to have sexual relationships, so, in theory, they pass the Harkness Test without any need for changes or tweaks to the original concept. Guess it'd be a similar situation to the one in the amazing story we have on the site, "The Virgin Heroine" by hematoma, where the sentient demons, succubi, and other creatures engage in sex with the heroine.
Well if all the pokemon stories are allowed then the digimon should pass I would presume. I'm not a fan of either.
If you put in some images/full descriptions of characters (for those who don't watch Digimon), I will back this 100%. As for Harkness: you just answered your own questions. They are mature, intelligent, and can talk. Pokemon, furries, and magical beasts are all allowed, and there are already several Digimon stories on the site, so it's fine.
I've checked the Digimon stories on the site and they use mostly the human characters. There's one that uses a dinosaur digimon, but it portrays him as a regular beast instead of how a digimon should be portrayed (sapient, capable of communication, etc), and the Pokemon stories usually make tweaks to the original concept to make it pass the Harkness Test, hence why I was a bit wary that a regular digimon story without any tweaks would pass it. If I ever go ahead with the idea, I'd use humanoid-looking Digimon, maybe leaning on the furry side, at max, like these ones:
