Hi everyone, I've been working on a new story in the Swamp-Point continuum. It is not yet ready to be publish yet, but I need some pointer and advice. Here is the synopsis A new facility had just opened its door at the outskirt of a small town called Swamp-Point. The facility offers a variety of therapies, but they specialized in couple therapy. In their advertising, they say that the main trouble in a couple is that most of the time the partners don’t know who they are really, and this created bitterness in the couple. The facility supposed to help each partner the find their real personality and accept it which in turns is supposed to save the couple. There’s a dark rumor spreading out that the people that come out of the center are not the same. They were changed body and mind. I wrote two stories, but I'm not quite satisfied with the result. I think I put too many branches not one is deep enough. I realised that I prefer reading stories with a few branches but with a large stories to go through. I might put pictures in this stories. Should I? What is the best places to look for supporting images for a storie here.? Where can I find a complete and simple tutorial to show me how to put pictures in the storie? I Know it probably quite easy but I'm not sure how. Thank you for the link towards the guide. I need to know if people are for or against pictures in stories. I know this is quite the debate. If yes, what good site I could look to take free pictures and insert them in my story. I need suggestion for the thumb nail pictures for my new story I'm about to release the first chapters.
For me, having pictures is a deal breaker. (After all, it's written content, so write your descriptions) Others like pictures. I'm sure you won't get a clear answer on that one. So it rather depends on if you want to describe your characters or go the "easy" way and use a picture. You can find pages with free pictures if you search for "CC0" (<- that's a zero) and/or "public domain" Even if they are free, there are still restrictions of using images with identifiable people.
