So I've recently started writing and even more recently started trying to include imagery. In my latest chapter I started including gifs and maybe it's just me and a poor connection but it seems like they are taking forever to load. I'm creating them using ezgif and I was wondering if there are certain ways to optimize them so they load a bit faster. Maybe take out more frames or a different type of edit?
Mostly it depends on the file size of the gifs though if it is slow to load you could always maybe add it later in the text so that by the time the reader reaches that point in the story it has already loaded in.
