Don't know if anyone has read it or not, (i've been spending half my waking hours reading manhua/manhwa and reading LN) but i'm obsessed with the Tower of God world. Or eh.. tower. Anyway i think any story set there would be an absolute delight to read. I might even try once i finish a couple other things I have going but theres quite a bit to it... kinda daunting.
I was thinking at one point of taking the idea and spinning it into a story. Not necessarily a fan fiction of ToG, but something set in the same or similar universe, but a different time period and different characters. Note that I haven't read past Season 2 Ep 153 yet.
Yes, i have read it. Thrid best Manhwa out there, after The Gamer and Flow. The thing about Tower of God is that there is fairly little known about the actual world (Or atleast i didn't find much). Can be a good or bad thing depending on how acurate you want to be.
I figured following a group of regulars (or even the main 'cast') up the tower would be thrilling. The fact that that entire world is unknown is great, it makes me salivate at the thought.... heheheheh
I would go for regulars. Simple reason that if you follow Bam you are ont culling block of all sorts of people. Also the guy has the tendency to jump/disappear. Maybe following Khun would work though, especially for the in between Season 1 and Season 2 where he hangs out with best girl.
Maybe start a story line of all the heinous shit Lahel has to do to get up the tower? No doubt that dirty bitch was blowin rankers for test points. Probably the only fictional person i've ever hated. Heh
Don't get me started breh, best grill is obvo yuri bae. Coming up in hot second is androssi, followed closely by yeon yihwa, and lizard girl. Rachelahel is worse than that old lady in the hotel bit.
Nah, dude, Rachel is like, fucking evil and stuff. I love it. Okay, on a serious note, although i fucking love Rachel for what she is best girl all things considered to me is probably Hwa Ryun (The Redhead guide) and then Androssi as well. Yuri is great and all but these two are just more likeable to me. Also all Hail Kaiser, who i love just for her name. Rachel still holds a special place in my heart...mostly because i saw her betrayal come like twenty miles away. I love how she tries so hard to be a schemer but is just a regular fucking girl that tries to be bigger then she is. Although i did not expect her to become so prominent throughout the story, i thought she would vanish until way towards the end.
I only really hate her because her schemes are all for LITERALLY nothing. She has no fucking clue why she even wants to be in the tower and is ruining peoples lives and stabbing her friends in the back to climb it. That whole wanting to see the stars thing was crap and her jealousy over something SHE caused is nuts. At least other shit-tier characters have a reason why they climb or some goal that turns them evil. She just seems evil for he sake of things. Shes just mental. To her credit though i wouldn't get so worked up if she wasn't fantastic at being evil. Also yea Hwa Ryun is great. (Just re-reading through and actually i really like yeon more than i thought heh.)
Honestly, Tower of God has numerous enjoyable female characters. It's sort of rare for...any source of entertainment. Usually there's only one...or two at the most.
To be fair I cant tell if half of the characters are male or female at the best of times. SIU is great like that.
Im gunna start brainstorming for this, im getting too excited by the prospects. If anyone has any ideas for characters, tests, administrators, etc. Drop that shit in here!
Like i usually do i will just throw random stuff around until something sticks with you. Name: Eurasia Ternat Ten Families: Positive, Eurasia Family, Main Branch Sex: Male Status: Regular, Floor 2 Appareance: Dark red-brown hair cut short. Tall, average build. Usually wears a dark blue shirt with pictures of palm trees and white shorts. Maybe sunglasses. Position: Wave Controller. Specialization: Creating walls made of Shinsoo to achieve numerous feats. (Blocking Projectiles, allowing people to use them as stairs, etc.) Character: Relaxed, unable to manage money and generally of the laid-back kind Ternat doesn't give a shit about most things. He climbs the towers for shits and giggles and the only reason for him to not back off on several occasions as that he doesn't want to be sent home and be nagged on by his mother. Note: As a part of the Eurasia family he loves sleeping and will do so whenever possible, often at the expense of his servant. ____ Name: Lala le Larthra Ten Families: Affiliated, servant of Eurasia Family Sex: Female Status: Regular, Floor 2 Appearance: Red Hair, long, pony tail. Average height and build. Position: Scout Specialization: Using a tool Ternat bought for her activate an illusion that makes it look like she is doing several different actions at once. E.G. She attacks with a jump kick, a clone of her throws a punch, another one runs away the last one just stands therer and stares angrily. While confusing it can be easily seen through by higher ranked regulars and rankers. Character: Larthra was a very well behaved servant back at the Families main holdings. However steadily having to drag Ternat's sleeping ass around as well as having to keep their finances together have burned through all the patience she once had. Now she shows her foul-mouthed and berating nature whenever something ticks her off. She generally means well though and although she will yell that she will leave your ass behind she will still try to save you or get back to pick you up. Even if you are sleeping at the side of the road. Note: Carries a sack with her that she often puts Ternat into to carry him around as he dozes off. EDIT: I left out age...oh well with Androssi being over 300 Age doesn't really matter in ToG anyway.

It really is....I should add 'Apparent Age' though. Generally, i should create a streamlined formular if am going to throw more of these out. Will get to that eventually.
Well as much as I wanna make baam and koon go on a tower-wide bang-crawl, we're doing this before the events of the main story but after all the current irregulars (urek, enryu, phantaminum) came to the tower. Probably like a couple hundred years? Nothing major so we wont have to wind around crazy ass plot details. Also: im still confused as to the layout of the tower, is it three separate structures with massive gaps between the outer towers and the inner one or is it more like an ice-cream sandwich. We never see it from the outside just lero-ro's dumb cube thing showing a confusing model.
At this point i am not entirely convinced the tower even has a layout. Hoaqin ruled over areas of the outer tower so i guess there is like a core tower with the 135 floors and an outer layer around that? Urek, Baam and Rachel came from somewhere outside though so i guess there are surrounding lands as well? To be honest the world of ToG is not particularly well built. Always felt it was more of 'Í want to tell a story of characters, the world is not really that important' kinda situation.
There is a middle area between the inner and outer with staircases that test passers and rankers use to go up floors or go to the outer tower I think given what i've read but the tower is the single strangest structure i've ever even read about. I love that besides maybe 1/5th of the tower we know nothing of the world. There could be an unfathomably large world outside the tower, but the fact that baam and rachel had never seen the stars means that they were probably living underground or something. Its so mysterious~ exciting~
