So i'll be stealing Tjf's model for character creation. I think it's one of the more robust systems on the site to allow as much freedom for character creation. Name: Gender("Real"): This is your gender in the normal world. One of the reasons why I chose this RPG Idea over the other options was because it more easily allows non-female roles. Gender("Fantasy"): Not sure how many will want to change gender between the two worlds, but I wanted the option open if you wanted to. Age: (The age range for this story is going to be High School Senior up to College Junior. So...roughly 18-21. You could do slightly older if you wanted to, but obviously under 18 is not allowed.) This age will carry over into the other world. Appearance ("Real"): This is your appearance in the "real" world. Everyone will be human here. Race/Appearance ("Fantasy"): Once in the Other World, your Otherworld Bloodline will awaken. You can stay human if you want, but there's a whole other world of Fantastical being you could also choose to be. Sexual Orientation: Personality/History: Forbidden (Things like kinks and scenarios you don't want your character involved in. ie: noncon or scat.) Skills: As always, you have five skill points to spend on skills. One point indicates proficiency in a skill, while two indicates mastery. Not spending on a point on a skill doesn't mean your character can't do something. For example, you can ride a horse regardless of whether you pick riding as a skill, but if you spend a point on that skill, your character will be a talented rider. Skill points will be rewarded during the RPG. Magic: If you spend a point on a skill called magic, you'll have access to this section of the character sheet. With one point in magic, you can choose two spells, and with two points, you can start with four spells. At the beginning of the game, spells will be quite weak (like a small fireball that can burn a single enemy, a summon for a small magical creature, or a spell that makes you quieter during stealth), but you'll be able to learn stronger magic in the game. What spells you start with are up to the player. Equipment: Just a place where you can keep track of your equipment or other things. This will start out empty until entrance into the Otherworld. (All right, there we have it. Tell me if there's anything I missed on the sheet, or if anything needs clarification.)
My original plan was to always have a High School setting. If it's a problem, then I can jump it to college...
Name: Astrid Lemaître/Astaroth Gender("Real"): Female Age: Early twenties(Relative in Celestial years.) Appearance ("Real"): Spoiler: Human(Might change it) Race/Appearance ("Fantasy"): Valkyrie Spoiler: Varies by level of corruption Sexual Orientation: Mainly Men Personality/History: The war in heaven. The casting out of angels and the establishment of hell, and it's all Archfiends, and Grand Dukes. Astrid never paid attention to any of that stuff. Even if she did, the true reality of her identity was hidden so well, that it would be a surprise to even other angels, especially herself. Whether or not angels are truly divine or perhaps just a different species is always up for discussion among scholars of the otherworld. Perhaps whatever divine being gives them their guidance isn't necessarily the actual creator god, but something like it is definitely not off the table. It's not as if the lore of Celestials is that coherent to even those who have access to it. The only consistent elements agreed is the Seraph represent the light, but in what capacity is always wildly differently interpreted. Among those questions, is the existence of any angels themselves. It's not clear, perhaps even to her, of whether or not she is Astaroth, or perhaps just another entity using the same name. Wasn't Astaroth a demon? And a man? Hmmm. But that's not even a question that could be answered by her. At least, in her state. Astrid was a great Valkyrie and guardian angel, taking the souls of the fallen to the heavens and protecting those under her charge. However, the souls of warriors, are just that. Warriors. Not all go easy or accept it. For a Valkyrie, using a blade is just a way of delivering their own brand of love and justice and they are angels specifically made for fighting. So why was it...despite all of that, there was a human capable of nearly besting her in lone combat? She won the battle, but due to complications that she doesn't remember the details of, she suffers from a condition. Seraph aren't easy to get rid of with something as trivial as "death", but the results of the battle were just as problematic. In her guise in the human world, she can't remember who she is and believes she's just a kind of lazy girl with no real plans for the future. In otherworld, she can draw on the energies of it to hold her mind together and remember her true persona, some details missing here and there. Forbidden: Gore, vore, scat, and other things that I can't think of right now but exist. Skills: Flight** *Spear fighting *Magic Resistance *Magic Magic: *Heal *Gravity- Increases or reduces the weight of an object or person, or be used in an a small area for weaker effect. Equipment:
I was originally hoping that everyone would start disconnected from Otherworld....Maybe their ancestors somehow came to the Real World somehow. I could probably work with this, but maybe with more amnesia. Other than that, the only question I have is....What's she been up to in the Real World? Is she a popular girl, a delinquent, an athlete? Is the valkyrie form something she can transform into? or is it something that she's always in The Otherworld(since that's what we're calling it now). If it's a permanent ability in Otherworld, then it's probably worth Two skill points, or if she can only fly short distances due to having not done flight for awhile maybe... With one point in magic, you would only have two spells.
A couple of ideas for characters, both are work in progress: Spoiler: Nicole Name: Nicole (sometimes called Nikki) Gender("Real"): Female Gender("Fantasy"): Female <=> Futanari (can switch between the two) Age: 18? Appearance ("Real"): Race/Appearance ("Fantasy"): Sexual Orientation: Bisexual Personality/History: Just a shy, plain and unremarkable girl – that's what everyone will tell you if you asked them about her. Nicole does her best to keep it that way. No one suspects how much of a covert pervert she really is. Nicole is the youngest of three sisters. Both of her older siblings are very pretty and very popular. She could be just as pretty and popular if she wanted to - but she does not. She has few people she is close to outside her family, and no one she would really call a friend. One of the reasons for that is her shyness that makes it difficult for her to approach people; the other reason is her interest in Futa Hentai – she has quite a collection - and her worry that people would (correctly) call her a pervert if they find out about her hobby. Because of Nicole's shyness and her unwillingness to get close to people her sexual experience is rather limited. Her first time was getting DPed by a couple (two students an year older than her), her second time was with the same couple but the girl got DPed by Nicole and the guy. A few times after that she slept with a single person (sometimes a guy and sometimes a girl). She has a futa fetish and has fantasized many times about becoming a futa herself. Forbidden Pregnancy (specifically her getting pregnant), amputation, gore, vore, vomit, diapers, magical contracts with significant permanent effects (such as loss of freedom, loss of life, loss of one's soul, etc.) that affect Nicole or people close to her (such as parents, lovers and close friends). Everything else I can think of is fair game, though stuff like watersports and scat will require that she gets persuaded into it. Skills: Archery (Bow) ** - she's surprisingly good with a bow and arrow Magic * Deception * - thanks to spending years hiding how much of a pervert she is she's become good at deceiving people Perception * - surprisingly perceptive, she often notices things other people would miss Magic: Ice Bolt – create a bolt of ice and shoot it at a target. Will grow larger and more powerful as her magic grows Enchant Item (Ice) – temporarily enchant an item, adding an ice-related effect to it (+ice damage for weapons, +ice resistance for armor, etc.). The effect's duration and power will grow as her power increases, and some day she might even be able to create permanent enchantments Equipment: None yet Spoiler: Valerie Name: Valerie Gender("Real"): Female Gender("Fantasy"): Female Age: 18? Appearance ("Real"): Race/Appearance ("Fantasy"): Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, but with a preference for women Personality/History: Valerie is an only child, leading to her parents doting on her. They made sure not to spoil her, but at the same time tended to give her almost anything she wanted. She was smart enough not to try and take advantage of her parents' love. As she grew up Valerie became more and more interested in commanding and dominating others, however she had to keep her desires secret from everyone because there was no way to act on them – her family, while rather well-off, was not rich or powerful. There are few people she is close to and none she considers her friends. Valerie is not a virgin, but her sexual experience is quite limited. Forbidden Pregnancy (specifically her getting pregnant), amputation, gore, vore, vomit, diapers, magical contracts with significant permanent effects (such as loss of freedom, loss of life, loss of one's soul, etc.) that affect Valerie or people close to her (such as parents, lovers and close friends). Everything else I can think of is fair game, though stuff like watersports and scat will require that she gets persuaded into it. Skills: Magic ** Dominant Presence * - other people are more likely to obey her commands and agree to her demands. Deception * Seduction * Magic: Glamour of Temptation – temporarily makes her seem more enticing, making it easier for her to seduce people Glamour of Domination – temporarily enhances her Dominant Presence, making people even more likely to obey her commands Magic Missile – a basic attack spell Phantom Chains – create arcane chains that temporarily immobilize a single target Equipment: None yet
As a human, she’s mostly focused as being an art student for school. Pretty good, but is kind of lazy about actually practicing her skills. She’s a human in the human world or at least convinced she is. Edited her flight to be limited. I’m not sure what spells to cut. Electric seems like a natural affinity, but momentum manipulation has more…uses. I could cut heal but you can’t be an Angel and NOT have healing spells in a rpg. Otherworld is just a stock name I used to be vague since I didn’t know what else to call it.
Name: Eleanor "Ellie" Sheridan Gender: Female (Real and Fantasy) Age: 18 Appearance: Fantasy Race/Appearance: Sexual Orientation: Bisexual, but leaning towards men. Personality/Bio (WIP): One of the more popular students in her school, due to her beautiful looks and sportiness, Ellie is generally treated like your average dumb, pretty girl by her classmates, a reputation she doesn't particularly care for. Though she enjoys sex, and being physically admired, she's far from a bimbo, keeping up good grades and being genuinely excellent at the sports she participates in, eager to be seen as something other than just eye candy. Though she's unaware at present about the other world, her desires to be seen as less of a fragile beauty will manifest in her taking the shape of an orc: Powerful, independent and feared, though still lusted after. Forbidden: Gore, vore, watersports, scat, futa (don't mind if other PCs or NPCs are futas, I just don't find it personally appealing) Skills: Agility** Melee combat** Seduction Magic: N/A (What, magic? Like an elf? Pffft, who needs magic when you have these? *Flexes giant orc muscles*) Equipment: None, yet.
I'm not sure if I should keep her third eye ability or go for proper flight. Unless it could just be she's effectively blind but uses magical senses to compensate, but not really with any special bonuses to what she percieves around her, at least yet. What magic she should stick with is also a question I'm having trouble with.
Name: Jackie Gender("Real"): Male Gender("Fantasy"): Female Age: 18 Appearance ("Real"): Spoiler: Humanz Race/Appearance ("Fantasy"): Spoiler: EILF Sexual Orientation: Straight according to their current form but willing to experiment. Personality/History: Jackie was always a rambunctious, active, go-with-the-flow sort. He never excelled at any one sport but always did well in any sort of track and field activity. When Jackie's otherwordly power and form manifested, it only made sense that she was a swift, agile, and almost ninja-like Dark Elf Ranger. Apparently, Jackie's easy going nature is so much so that even swaping genders from world to world doesn't seem to bother them and they still mostly have the same personality in either state save for what/who they find attractive at the time. If asked, Jackie will respond, "I just feel like I should act like I am. If I'm a guy back home, I'm gonna be a guy. If I'm a gal here, I'm gonna be a gal." Forbidden: Scat, watersports, guro, and anything that basically lingers on the situation being "painful". Skills: ** Presence Concealment (You'd think someone so bright and cheerful wouldn't be able to Batman their way in and out of situations but...) * Speed * Agility * Throwing weapon proficiency Equipment: TBD
This does beg the question about what I'm going to do about this topic, because I do like to address it. In the "real world", birth control is most places in the Western World is pretty easy to get. The costs of it are covered under a free Healthcare system or even the U.S. Healthcare system. Parents who have health insurance will have their kids covered which would make birth control readily available for the females of the group. Birth control pills themselves have a really small failure chance. Something like .05-.3%. However, it's unlikely that the Otherworld will have something like that....they may have herbal remedies or makeshift condoms which would have a much higher failure chance than modern equivalents. There's also magic, but that's probably limited and requires a spell slot if you want to get meta about it. For plot reasons(as in an easy way to get plots), pregnancy is going to be possible, but I don't think there's going to be a super high chance. I don't want you to look at an encounter and be all "I'm not sleeping with that handsome man because I might get pregnant." Pragmatic, yes, but less fun in a sex RPG. I also don't want the PC's to just go "I get perganant" or "I get her praganant" because I feel like that's a bit too much of a Magic Bullet(semen bullet). So your characters aren't likely to know this, but I think its important for full disclosure. Outside of things like Demons or Dragons or other such creatures, half-breeds are going to be super rare. So interspecies sex is unlikely to produce offspring. Something like 1 in 3,000 or roughly the equivalent of taking birth control pills. For same-species sex, it's going to be significantly higher, but still only like 1 in 500. I dont know, I'm not set on the number yet and obviously 8f everyone's all "Hey you need to decrease the chance", then I'll be happy to do so. Edit: I realized after I posted this that most of the PC's are going to be female, so getting NPC's pregnant is probably not a huge concern.
I think I got it. I'll just run with it, I think. On another note, the game her character art comes from is apparently supposed to be about Soccer.
Nicole - if I decide to go with her - could get someone pregnant... eventually - due to her shyness it's going to be a while before she would risk it. I've updated the Personality/History sections for both Nicole and Valerie. All that's left is to figure out Valerie's fantasy look, and then it will be time to choose which character to use.
It's true...although accidents can happen. I dont really expect this rpg to be a "and then everyone got knocked up, the end." Kind of story. There's another RPG on Chyoa with that purpose...
Added pictures for Valerie's fantasy look. It wasn't my intention to make her another blonde elf, but I liked the look and decided to go with it. I'm going to wait and see what, if any, other characters get added before choosing which one to use.
There's nothing wrong with attractive blonde elves. A generation of Legend of Zelda players grew up lusting after one.
Honestly, I'm more for Midna and her imp form. Zelda is...fine? But I think it's line princess peach where it's less they are just super hot and more they are just nostalgic to a lot of people growing up. Like...there's a lot of characters who honestly aren't really much too look at, but they are still popular because it's what people are familiar with. Zelda herself as a character....I've always kind of questioned her being the alleged goddess of wisdom when 9/10 zelda plots kind of only work because she tells Link to do the dumbest possible thing either releasing the bad guy or bringing all the artifacts in one place for him to steal. My favorite incarnation of Zelda is probably Tetra actually. Here's a question I have for most fantasy worlds. If the bad guy needs to assemble a bunch of pieces of something and they are all hidden away in places he can't get to....what possible advantage is there into the hero breaking in there, killing all of the treasure's defenders, taking it and then piling them all into a single place to do all the work for them? Personally, while I'm not all that attracted to blondes, there are still some that look good. I still like my valkyries design. Though really. It's more or less, just because she has big....armor.
