I was thinking about making my own rpg with action in IX England, Denmark, Greenland and Vinnland, with vikings, Saxons and British and other locals. Magic would come from religion like pagans and Christian. Players would be settlers who have to build their own home in unwelcome lands, with bandits, monsters and kingdoms against them. They all come from some kind of nobility like warriors, bards, priest and merchants. To survive their lands, they will have to deal with local powers making alliances, pacts, and more. I have to polish the idea and make some area to colonization for players, something like bounty board for Tjf. Diffrent area would come with diffrent advantages and disadvantages. For egzample frozen north land will be more difficult to survive because of temperature and building material, but in exchange it would granted more valuable material like iron, pelts of wild animals and others to sell at the hight prize at more civilian area. Dice roll system for players action will be included too, but the class what player chouse will also add. So, bard could learn how to fight, but warrior with the same skill level will be better than singer. Tell me what are you thinking about that. If anyone will be intrested in such RP, please wirte. Also, any suggestion and ideas are welcome too.
Good idea and setting. I prefer the standard adventuring-with-a-small-party format to strategy but it could be cool.
