What is one random story bit you are proud of?

In contrast to entire stories, what is one twist/introduction/chapter you are most proud of? Either taking someone else’s story and adding an idea that is fun or just your favorite new story beginning chapter, etc.

I thought Rowena's long trek back through the tunnel in Pipe-weed Dreams came out very well and heartfelt.

I’ll start with being amused at the game show idea for the New Universes story because it was just so stupid a framing device.

Not sure if anyone else would agree, but I started writing for Prisoner of Tau Ceti, (decades ago!!!) and I still think it's pretty good. Maybe I'll continue it one day.
