In my opinion counting link chapters increases total number of chapters without these chapters adding any content. Link chapters should be counted separately if at all. If you like this suggestion like this post to get it approved.
I would prefer having link chapters as a separate stat as well. So it could be the basis for other stats.
I also agree with this, if only because when I look at my ratio of chapters to likes, it makes me feel worse because link chapters from my games lower the ratio.
Well I have a similar reason but I have so less likes that removing link chapters from total count won't affect much.
