How about the old fashioned 'pear': insert the instrument in any hole, and slowly turn the knob to open it. Could be metal, or any other meterial. A wooden one wpuld be nice. PD used it at INSEX in his "wood period" (1997-2001)
yes to that! nice and traditional. I definitely like that direction. can use it to open them some sort of extreme packing or public display scene
