Ok, so this one is a little more complicated and ambitious but I would like to share it here anyway.

The actual idea: not a substitute for the current awards, but a especial kind of them. These awards instead of being achieved automatically once a certain threshold is surpassed (aka: you did this x times, here is your fancy title, no questions ask), would be achieved by votes from the readers, meaning people would actually have to actively enter your profile and click in the 'I think this beautiful being deserves this' button. Once a certain number of different users has vote for it, then you get the award.

How many votes? Should the number of votes be actually shown?... yeah, that's the part that get's really tricky, Either way, I think it should be votes on your profile NOT on chapters or stories, so that anyone could only vote for you once for each possible award.

Now for the fun part, the actual award suggestions:
    • Loyal lover: This writer not only starts stories but has shown some commitment to actually continue them in an interesting way.
    • Architect of Worlds: This author has created or developed original, consistent and interesting worlds for his/her stories.
    • Slowburner: This writer may not be in a hurry to get you to the smut, but has shown to make the wait worth it.
    • Refined libertine: This writer has delved into some very specific an unusual fetishes. It may not be for everyone, but his readers appreciate his dedication.
    • Mind Sculptor: This author has created fascinating and interesting characters that feel like real people and not just talking genitals.
    • Smooth Talker: This writer has a talent for descriptions, the kind you came here looking for.
I don't know, it probably is too overly complicated, but I think it would be a way of rewarding quality of writing instead of quantity.

I was skeptical upon reading the title, but I actually quite like this suggestion. This is a very effective and explicit way to separate the fetish from the content - that is, an author will get votes for being a good writer, not for being the owner of a large public story or whatever. However, there would need to be ways to limit the votes, otherwise you could just vote for every award, every time you see an author, and it just devolves into a contest of fame. Perhaps you would need to choose your Top 3 or 5 authors for each award.
