Everything has been invented and intentionally trying to avoid something simply because you want to be original, is going to limit your writing greatly. Sure, don't completely copy someone, but there is a lot of wiggle room between "I just took Twilight and put my name on top with a sharpie" and "I went through every single book and short story ever written to ensure that my story is totally new."
Subverting tropes is great! It's fun to do and fun to read... but you shouldn't overdo it. Play most tropes straight. Only subvert or otherwise mess with a couple. What if LotR's orcs were actually Enlightenment-style scientists? What if you could exceed the speed of light by traveling a stable, constructible wormhole? What if you set this hardboiled neo-noir story in a contemporary high school?

I've hinted at this before, but I think it's an amazing achievement that you finished such a huge story. Most stories on CHYOA have no endings. A very small minority have one ending, [i]maybe[/i] two. But a [b]thousand[/b] endings? That's ridiculous. Insane. Unique. Unironically, I take my hat off to you. (What, no bbcode in profile posts??)
On the one hand, sad one story is ending. On the other hand, sort of stoked to get working on another story.
Part of it is that I've been writing endings for this story for over a year. There are over 7k chapters and about a thousand of them are endings.

Where does the line go between cuckolding and just cheating? If the person isn't aware of their partner cheating on them, isn't that just regular cheating? I was under the impression that cuckolding is a consensual kink where they get off on seeing their partner fucking other people.

It really is creepy to steal someone else's writing for a game. Also kinda stupid in that, if they like your writing, why not contact you and get you involved in the game making? Sure, they'd have to pay you, but aside from that being the right thing to do, I would assume that if you were involved in a game AND getting paid, you would produce more material with the incentive to make it as good as possible.
Lol if they ever do that with mine i'll be able to come after them on copyright grounds XD if they not making money off of it, or if they translated it into a non-english language I wouldn't. but I would absolutely consider it if they kept it in english and it didn't fall under fair use
