My w key no longer works so if everyone could start putting w in their posts so I can easily cut & paste it that would be cool
I feel like we should tone down the way we deragotorize rats and other rodents, because rodents really aren't that bad. Unless you're a bad rat owner, but that goes for any pet. This is probably just my rodent bias shining through. I do get what you mean though.
Maybe this is novice-writer of me, but I hadn’t written down anything for my story (character bios, background info, etc), it was all in 1/
Me too, I don't really have a storyboard or plot in mind most of the time, I just write from where I am at the moment. Often when I'm writing, I find that I'm daydreaming scenarios that could only take place about 6,000 words later. I also sometimes have to refer to old chapter to keep track of previously mentioned plot point like the date, weather, enviroment, etc.
I think a good solution would be a sort of 'Author's notes' chapter that we could jot down plot points in, things we'd need to keep track of.
I actually just finished going through my story as though I was a reader, taking notes the entire time (both for what’s happened and what’s to come). It was an incredibly bizarre experience to attempt to perceive my own work as a viewer, but I definitely think I have a better hold than I did previously lol. I even got some new ideas!
Just discovered that microdosing on carpet burn is an effective exfoliant. New life hack obtained. Gonna have to be careful though...
Well, it depends on how old an 'old chapter' really is. Also take into account perspective; something written a year ago by someone who's been writing for a decade is not likely to be as drastically different as someone who only started a year ago. I feel like I've grown a lot in just the last few months alone. Plus, this site lets you put a new coat of paint on some old chapters, if you know what I mean.
Though, for any finished stories, I wouldn't touch anything, just in case you slip in a detail that conflicts with prior or future lore.
There's some genuinely good AI ero stuff out there, but I hate how it's clogging up all the search functions now so you can't find human art
It really is a shame, because yeah, a post/story can be tagged as AI, and you can filter out anything labelled AI, but you'd filter out EVERYTHING labelled AI. There's no 'quality' filter because beyond the bare basics of biology and grammer, quality is subjective. The sheer quantity does tend to get anooying quickly though.
Nothing is more rage inducing than someone who has no idea what they're talking about, rattle off like they know more than you.
Mfw I accidentally post a chapter two chapters ahead of the rest of my story (my internet also decided to shit itself)
If I could add images the image would have been the reaction image of the black kid with his hands on his head
Fellas call that the 'No way'. Incidentally, it was my exact reaction to you not knowing it was called 'No way'.
Recontextualizing Earth into a public story on this site and the various gods (Buddha, Jesus, etc.) as a wide cast of contributors.
Would that mean that religious wars are caused by different writers trying to kill off each other's OCs?
If we assume the converse, that religion/mythology is how the characters percive the writers, then it stands to reason that the generally more 'evil' gods (tricksters like Loki) or destructive events like Ragnarok are a sort of 'writer war'.
Although, if we assume the 'gods' are self inserts, and they people behind the divine screen are really just trying to write a good story, then there is a very real chance the wars of our world are merely another part of the story, the supposed 'plot-twist'.
