That awkward moment when you've done work over the past several days but no one can tell because it's all in draft
You guys know the Illiad/Odessy (Idk which one)? The part where two gods (Aphrodite and one other) ask the guy which one is prettier?
That's just kinda lame isn't it. Shame really, would be nice to have Paris outsmart those three like it happens so often in mythology. But oh well. Guess that means there is no good answer. Then that leaves one question; what's the *funniest* answer?
The funniest answer is that Thoth comes over and brings the Egyptian pantheon to fight against the Hellenic one
You say its funniest, but no thats actually the *coolest* possibility. There's a reason the recent God of War games moved over to Norse mythology. And if we're taking the 'religion crossover' route, I think Buddha and Sun Wukong absolutly washing the Greek pantheon (heard most people say Wukong solos Goku, and Greek gods aren't nearly as busted as some other mythos are) is going to be one hell of a spectacle.
I don't know if I wanna somehow gaslight myself into finding an allegory for capitalism in Tetris or if I just wanna make an over-the-top satire response which is somehow someone's actual thought process... [meme of guy sweating while choosing between two buttons goes here]
There's no such thing as limitless growth or expansion. You build higher and higher, thinking that you can keep things stable, but eventually you'll hit the ceiling and lose.
I'm sick of these idiot prank bro influencers committing actual crimes, being a nuisance, and the law just babies them. Be better people.
New laptop arrived. Quite a bit better than my previous one, but now got to reinstall all the things I had before
Ah yes. The pain of reinstalling all of my games and stuff, importing all the stuff outside of steam ect.
Why do people make sure a big deal about AI stuff? You still gotta do half the work yourself so its not the cheat code its made out to be.
The problem with AI tends not to be the quality of the product it puts out, but how it produces that product. Generative AI gets trained on data that it gets fed by whoever is training it. So an AI Writing app gets trained on stories and writing found on the internet. The problem is that this data is typically used and taken without the permission of the original author.
From a consumer perspective, the sheer quantity is also an issue. AI can generate alright content of the type that'll be familiar to anyone who's read mediocre fanfic. But it can do so at such scale that everything else risks getting drowned out. Fully half of the latest 40 posts on rule34.xxx are AI-generated, for example. I don't mind seeing some AI-generated, but half of everything gets tiresome real fast.
I've never actually seen or read 'A Christmas Coral'. Kinda want to replicate the story based on the few references I hear every so often...
New computer in a few days supposedly. Got damage warranty in case, but hoping it doesn't get damaged during delivery.
Dangerously close to debating if I should try running something again, but get too anxious trying to write anything up.
Looking at getting a new computer. Wasn't planning too yet, but might as well now before they get price hiked.
Don't know who needs to hear this, but the bugs under your skin wouldn't want you to be dirty and stressed out. They want you to producitve.
Yay!... My first story was successfully published -> https://chyoa.com/story/Letters-of-apology-to-my-husband.65105
