The mayor laughs, tormenting her captive. "Look at you - you really thought that because you can fly, you have power? You don't understand it, and you don't want it. No... You're an object, a pet. And you're going to be an obedient one, if you don't want me to utterly destroy you. Now, I'm going to let you clean up, after which, you'll be given to someone very special. You'll obey him utterly, understood?"
As she got no answer from the half-stunned blond, only a low moan, Kizuhara stepped on her breast again. "Ugh~ Yes... Mistress..." Satisfied, the mayor kicked the woman so she rolled on her stomach. Absentmindedly, her body still shaking from the climaxes she had, the blond started licking her juices off the floor... which, considering her body was covered in a sweaty mess of sex juices of her own and mayor's, resulted more in smearing the juices over the floor.
"Fufu, I know you will." Vanessa smiles, returning to her room, she attaches the collar to her fur coat. Before heading down to the garage, picking one of the various luxury super cars her family owned. She drives to Vincent's office to see what he wants.
No messages, Nico sees, but while scrolling through the phone he finds a few articles up about the kidnapping - and speculating about the new hero. Outside the recording studio, Calista spots the fat businessman from the day before, the sleazy one, next to her manager. "Ah, there she is!" Her manager smiles nervously. "Calista, allow me to introduce Vincent Postlewaithe, the new owner of Sunshine Records - he's here to give you a listen in person." The businessman smiles wide, and offers Calista his hand. "Forgive me for yesterday - it was a high-stress situation. Why don't we start over? Call me Vince." Spoiler: Awareness Roll D100: 77 (Success) The man's good at feigning friendliness, but something about his smile doesn't reach his eyes - which are ogling Calista at this moment.
The mayor grabs the Kaen by the hair and forces her to make eye contact. "Now - my son has come back from his first semester of college with a girlfriend totally unsuited to him - the daughter of one of my enemies. Luckily for me, he's a fan of superheroes, and I have one of the sluttiest here at my feet. You'll be my son's personal costumed sex-slave until he's forgotten entirely about this girl, understand? This is why I ordered you to get in costume. Luckily, I planned for your defiance." Crossing to a chest, she pulls out a perfect replica of Amethyst Heart's costume, and snaps her fingers. Black suited men enter the room, picking the fallen woman up roughly. "Now, you'll be cleaned and made up until you're worthy of my boy's presence, after which you'll suit up and head to his room. If he's anything short of delighted by your performance, what happened to your predeccesor will seem positively merciful."
"Ah, my dear." The fat man greets her with a smile. "Sadly, I haven't called you down here for fun. No - someone's trying to take down our company, push you and me both out, probably planning to absorb Fitzegerald Industries into their own company."
Arriving at the office building, Vanessa parks her car and heads straight up to vincent's office. Wearing her usual public attire, her confidence returns as she feels the people's gaze on her. Knowing they're awed by her beauty, and wealth. Then as Vincent greets her, she couldn't help but frown. Specially as he gave the reason for their meeting. "Absorb the company? Who is? No, if it's someone that powerful, is it Arch's?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she enters the fat bastard's office.
I'll give Lana some more time. Too busy to worry about them today anyway. Seeing the pair of showrunners in the hallway, Calista resists the urge to gag. He's the new owner? Ergh. Seeing her manager's discomfort next to the greasy man tells Calista she isn't alone in disliking him, at least. Pressing on through her disgust, Calista gives the man a dainty handshake, using her power to speak in her alto voice. "I-I'm sorry too, Vince. I didn't mean to be rude. I'm glad they found Lana so quickly." Calista, noticing the man's staring, can't help but feel a swell of pride for fooling him so handily. "Do you mind if we go inside so I can start warming up?"
{I thought it would be a twist here... like, oh, it's Erik, or the Infinity, or mister president...} "Yes, Mistress..." Faye answered, her head slowly recovering. Then she cought up what she heard - 'until he's forgotten entirely about this girl' - "and, after this... She asked, before she was dragged away. She shivered hearing about the fate of her predecessor. Finally, moments later, still tired, but recovering Amethyst Heart, was cleaned and in costume... waiting in mayor's office. She would need to be... enthusiastic in her performance.
"Hard to say - they're probably our most powerful enemy, but they're not the only one. The Fitzgerald brand name would be valuable for anyone to have when working in this city." Vince sighs. "I know we don't see eye to eye, but I think we should work together on this - unless we want to let this asshole divide and conquer."
"Sure, after you." Vince smiles, before moving aside to let Calista in the room. "I've got big, big hopes for you - your appearance is very...marketable, so hopefully your voice can match up."
"Tsk." Vanessa clicks her tongue as even Vince didn't know who's gunning for them. "Damn it." She hissed, nodding. "Yes, for now I suppose a truce is in order." The heiress forced herself to reply, taking a deep breath to calm herself. "What else do you know about this person planning a hostile take over?"
@Arachna "Honey?" Valentin looks up, as he hears a knock at his door. "I'm coming in, okay?" The young delinquent sees the door slide open, revealing his mother on the other side. Spoiler: Karolina Hansen "Oof, you need to let some fresh air in here more often, sweetie." She looks around his room, before focusing on him. "I'm off to work now. Please, no starting fights with other boys while I'm gone, okay?" Valentin's mother isn't aware of his recent encounters with the demonic, but more than aware of her son's reputation.
Wrestling a strange mixture of distaste, pride, and anxiety, she enters. She secludes herself in the soundproofed recording room. Then, she dons the headphones waiting for her and undergoes her long practiced, ritualistic vocal exercises. After a few minutes, she asks the audio engineer through the microphone "Ready? I am when you are." At their go, Calista sings the upbeat, joyous pop song selected for her by the company. She can't recall being this nervous for a performance before, but she hasn't had to stake her entire career on just one song either. Like it was any other performance, she uses her power to perfect her voice to the best of her abilities, hoping to entirely captivate her audience.
"A truce. Or we could form a more permanent alliance. We don't have to be enemies, you know - with my influence and your family name, we'd be quite the team." He sighs. "We don't know much - massive amounts of shares being bought by someone hiding behind shell corporations. There was a major hacking attack on our networks - we're trying to narrow down who did it."
"Is that right? As far as I know, it was you whose been trying to oust me from my position." Vanessa glares at him, sighing, letting him know she wouldn't be against an alliance, as long as he doesn't try anything funny. "Right, damn it. But then again, most of the shares belong to me, and to you. So how exactly are they going to buy us out?"
All eyes are on Calista, as she sings her heart out, powers working to their limits. Spoiler: Acoustomancy Roll D100: 61+20 (Success) Finally, the song ends, and the engineer raises his thumb, before her manager and new boss enter the room. Calista curses herself for a moment - a brief bout of nervousness threw her powers off for just a second, but otherwise, she's pretty sure her performance was flawless. "I think...you have a lot to offer this company." Vince smiles. "Welcome aboard - I'll sign the necessary papers to get your career moving."
"Only since you weren't willing to play ball." He slips a hand around her waist. "I'm willing to work with you very closely... But in any case, I'd say they'll try moving on one or both of us - harming our finances until we have to sell shares, or maybe doing something even more drastic. Now that I think about it, you don't have a security team, do you? Maybe you should consider it."
