Analyze a fantasy: Daddy-Daughter, what makes it hot to you?

A user asked me a while back what made a certain fantasy hot (in this case father-daughter), and it got me thinking on all the angles of the daddy-dau fantasy. Seeing as this is as fine a place as any to discuss fetish-y stuff, I am curious what drives the fantasy for other people, or what twist on the fantasy interests other authors and readers the most.

-Do you like the father to be the initiator?

Do you prefer a fantasy where the father is using his innate authority to control the daughter, like a power fetish? Where her youth and physical attractiveness is such that he is willing to break the protective bonds of fatherhood and move to abuse her with his authority? Where his attraction is so strong that it becomes worth giving up on all the years sweat, blood, and tears of raising her, stealing away her innocence, all because it's just that fucking good, she's that hot to him and so physically close to him that he won't be denied anymore?

Or maybe you prefer a kind of twisted effort to preserve her innocence against the corruption of others, where the father moves to possess his little girl for himself rather than releasing her to the other men of the world when she comes of an age where other men might take her away from him and steal her innocence?

How about a genuine romance between two consenting parties, built upon mutual attraction so strong it shatters the tradition bounds of society and even nature?

Maybe the daughter's sense of protection and security through her father is so strong that she will do anything to retain it at a time of uncertainty in her life (reaching adulthood, or having experienced the challenges of adulthood)?

Has the father's enduring strength and love manifested itself such that in the daughter's mind she is attracted to that image of absolute faithfulness and strength she's had since girlhood?

Or conversely has the father abandoned, abused, or neglected his daughter in the past? Is she willing to throw herself at him to gain a missing bond - her father's love, that she never felt she had in a healthy way?

Sometimes it's the daughter exerting her control, using her youth and sex appeal to manipulate the man who has been able to provide for her all her life into providing more (more money, more freedom, more whatever), pushing what she can get out of her father with guilt and mind-blowing sex. Is she seeking to circumvent the bounds of dads or moms authority?

Does she seek to supplant her aging mother, who may not have treated her, in her mind, fairly? A kind of sexual revenge, with a dash of cuckqueening poor old mom?

Is she looking to be the dominant role, to switch from natural childhood submissiveness and become the dominant force in a new kind of relationship?

Is it simple bribery? Is the daughter so depraved yet sexy that she is perfectly willing to get simple favor through sex? Is this encouraged by dad, or is he 'persuaded'?

Is it appreciation or sympathy? Is dad overworked, maybe a single parent? Is he lonely?


The list of factors can go on and on - does breeding or pregnancy factor in? Is mom a willing partner? If the father attractive to her? Repulsive? Just normal? Is it a one time thing, recurring, or a lifetime role? Is it actually sex, or just a kind of near-incest taboo, riding a sexual edge without going over to full penetration?



This fantasy has so many angles, and is a very compelling taboo to many men and women. What is your favorite take or twist (or combination of twists) on the father-daughter fantasy? What other approaches are there that you like?

Personally i like when the dad introduces his child into the of sex to prepare her for the future then becomes obsessed with her.it's even better if the daughter responds that she has found her dream man or comes to accept him as the future dream lover.
And i see another way that this fetish could happen the father was raised to believe that all females are created to love males so he see no difference in his love for his daughter over any other female. In his reality daughter is just a word to call a female!

On incest scenes in general, not only dad/daughter, I find it way hotter if there isn't previous sexual attraction between them, only some form of acknowledgement that both parties are good looking. Going from that, something can happen that makes them see each other as sexual beings and the situation builds itself until both give in to the desire. A daring game turning sexy or watching a movie with hot scenes, for example.

Incest fantasies are some of the easiest to write because they come with natural conflict. Their taboo nature make them natural forbidden love stories. Really take any standard erotic story and slap an incest theme on it and you are turning the dial up to eleven.

Personally, for daddy daughter stories I like them best where both parties are attracted to the other but are afraid to act on it. Then through a comedy of errors they are thrust together into an illicit relationship.

Yes, I'd agree, and add that incest scenes are also often easy to write not just because of the natural conflict/taboo that gets shattered by sex but also because youre able to tap into near-universally understood variations on relationships that are both known from people's own lives and commonly explored in all forms of societal narratives.

An author can use basic semi-cliche templates of a relationship (which is basically what this topic is about) between an incestuous pairing and go from there, with a reader being able to easily understand and extrapolate not just where the conflict is but a portion of the history between the characters and their prior relationship, without the lengthy and possibly distracting process of spelling it all out.

So, yes, it's a relatively easy way to dial up the hotness (though doing it right, as with anything, takes skill)... and it's powerful.

Kind of like the Dark Side of The Force.

Yeah, that's what I meant. One or both parties plotting to make it happen or longing for the opportunity doesn't do it for me. The accident, 'spur of the moment' angle feels way hotter.

One of the major elements I missed (among many others I'm sure) in my original post was whether Dad is willing to share.

Is he keeping his daughter to himself? Or does he whore his daughter out for his friend's entertainment? Is he her pimp? Does he even get involved in sex, or does he just act as a sexual enabler, selling his precious girl's innocence and hot young body for cold cash?

Or, as a reverse, is the little slut already a stripper or whore, and dad finds out and pays her good money? She's offering the goods, and dad is paying for the services. Capitalism demands that his money be honored.
