Posted my first story yesterday and saw an Approval button. So I clicked on it (I'd read that stories needed to be reviewed, but I think I was in a fog of "must check all boxes correctly to get this processed" and thought the approval button was me approving it to be published, then it'd get reviewed; then I thought longer and realized I think I might have messed up). I think that removed it from the "to approve" pile without actually having it publish. Is there a way to tell if it actually published, is in some kind of review stage, or accidentally got pushed into an in-between zone of being off the "to approve pile" but not actually published? I think this happened because I set it up to be a moderated story. So I had access to the Approval button to the four chapters I'd written. My question is more about whether or not I messed up and moved the story out of the moderation queue or not.
Your story is in review. It usually gets reviewed in one day though it sometimes takes somewhat longer. No, it's not related to it being set up as a moderated story. It's rather a bug. The buttons shouldn't be there at that moment. They also don't really do anything but create notifications in your Recent Activity feed.
