"Hmm?" Felicia pondered, looking around for the voice. Odd... couldmit really be? She thinks to herself, unsure of what she heard exactly. All she knew that the voice made her feel calmer. Then as the escort spoke to her while guiding her to the dorms. "Right, I suppose that's true..." She mumbles, "Ah, yeah, that's okay, thank you, miss?" The red-head asked for her escort's name, while thanking her.
Now taking the situation seriously, he says, "He was talking with another girl by the tower. She had a wicked scar over one eye. It looked like they were about to fight or spar or some sh--stuff when the eyepatched girl ran in and punched Dom in the gut. He went right down. The two girls talked for a while, then the one with the eyepatch helped Dom up and they walked off together." The student concludes. "It looked to me like Eyepatch stopped a fight before it started then got Dom out of there. He seemed to know her."
"Vickers. Penelope Vickers." She supplies. "We're here. Let me get the door." An expansive building stands before Felicia, although she's already seen it during her run earlier in the day. Spoiler: Obelisk Blue Women's Dorm (ignore the rain) "A word of warning first. This is the same building as the Blue Men's Dorm, you'll just turn right at the foyer while the male students turn left." With that, Penelope opens the entryway. It leads to a large foyer, with students of both sexes milling about, sitting, and chatting. Looking right, Felicia sees a woman sitting behind a desk. She recognizes the seated woman as Yumi Itou, former PDA Champion. Spoiler: Yumi Itou
"Thank you, miss Vickers." Felicia gives a soft smile as they arrived, "I see, so it's a shared... dorm?" She asked, unsure if this mansion looking building could even be called a dorm. Then as they entered, "Oh? Isn't that Yumi Itou?" The red-head asked, a bit surprised to see a big name here. And judging by the fact she's behind a desk, "Is she a teacher here?" Felicia wondered, waiting for Penelope to lead her to where she's supposed to board.
This was hard to grasp. She couldn't expect them to have all the details, but it didn't really properly explain the context of what exactly had happened. Scarred girl...that's right. That was one of the girl's on the principial/president's list. So was the eyepatched. They were being admitted to Obelisk Blue. "Alright. I need to look into this, but please. I'm trusting you all to be good. At least on the first day." She gave her message to students, doing her best to use less of a strict tone and more one that would just make them feel incredibly guilty about disappointing her. In her experience, usually a much more effective tactic. As she began to step out, she brought up her phone to bring up Yumi's contact info, that she was fortunate to have from earlier. Hey, girl. I know. Not even one day and I'm already getting clingy, right? Yeah, but seriously. I need to talk to a few of the girls about an incident today. One of my students is missing and they seem to have some kind of fight. Nobody's seen him since. This is pretty serious.
"It means it's a pleasure to see you." Adam leans against the doorway "Well, I do have a habit of making things dirty, but I'll try not to increase your workload too much."
"The best student housing in the country!" Felicia's escort nods. "Yep. Come on. Let's get you checked in." Penelope leads her to the desk. "Hey Professor. Can we talk somewhere private?" "Good evening, Penelope." Yumi coldly greets Felicia's guardian, sighing at the request. "Follow me." She leads the other two into a small, spartan office only a few steps away, closing the door behind them. "This is Felicia Matthews." Miss Vickers begins. "Sorry she's late for check-in. There was a...medical issue." She uses the first lie she thinks of. "Her deck's been stolen too, so can you take her to the card store tomorrow? I'll pay you back for it." The woman almost pleads. Yumi checks her phone before answering. "Sure, Penny," the professor says, tired. She sighs again. "Are you staying the night with her? Does she need her own room?" Felicia's guardian looks to the young woman to answer.
The students seem mostly obedient, and the ones who aren't stand a good chance of being kept in line by the others or by earning Julia's disapproval. She gets a message back almost immediately. Come over, then. I assume you know who you're looking for? Have you reported this yet? Julia, setting out for the Obelisk Blue Dorms, arrives only a few minutes later. Spoiler: Obelisk Blue Dorms (ignore the rain please)
Following behind them, hearing Yumi's tone, Felicia couldn't help but wonder what their relationship was like. They seem to know each other, even more than just simple colleagues. She thinks to herself as they enter a small office, "Ah, no, I can buy my own packs... I just need to know where the shop is." The red-head interjects, not wanting to owe Penelope even more than she already has. But as the topic switched to her room, "A private room would be nice... I won't need a guardian to stay with me. I'm sure miss Vickers is busy." Felicia declines the offer of needing someone to stay with her.
"Good to meet you too, Adam." She says, cheery. "I appreciate the thought, but I'll have to go over every inch anyway." Taylor clears her throat. "Just so you know, I'm also here to...meet the needs of the students on this floor, as long as it doesn't interfere with their studies or duties."
"I insist." Miss Vickers looks Felicia in the eye before turning to Prof. Itou. "Like I said, I'll pay you back." "I will not be forcing her to shop with me..." Yumi sternly tells the other employee, shifting to look at Felicia as she finishes the sentence. "...but I can take you over after the dorm meeting in the morning. You will require clothes as well, if the blanket is any indication." "In that case, I'll be leaving. Here's my phone number, Felicia." Penelope hands her a business card. "Call me anytime, okay?" The woman exits the office, leaving the student in the professor's care. "So, let me guess." Yumi shuts the door again before looking back to Felicia. "You were raped?"
"Well, far be it for me to keep you from evaluating every last inch." Adam suppresses a smile, not sure if the innuendo was intentional. "Meet their needs? How so?" He raises an eyebrow.
Working on it. I need the full story to give a proper update. While she didn't have much, she did send a faculty and security notice about the turn of events and for anyone to update if they learned more. Currently, a student has had a disappearance after an instigation with two girls. She relayed what she knew and then made her way to the blue dorms, entering.
"Er... alright." Felicia replied with a nod, "Thank you, miss Itou. And yes... I'll be needing a change of clothes." She then replied to the white-haired woman, though she was upset about changing her deck, the prospect of building another one did sound fun. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. She thinks to herself, her mind wandering to her partner. "Ah, thank you, once I get a new phone, I'll call you when I can pay you back." Felicia takes the business card, holding onto it tightly. Then as Penelope left, Yumi's sudden question catches her by surprise. "A-aah... n-no, I'm still a... I-I mean no, I was just... mugged I suppose. They didn't touch me." Felicia's cheeks flush pink, barely keeping herself from admitting that she was still a virgin. She gives Yumi a brief explanation about what happened.
"That's up to the students--up to you, Adam--within reason. I can't do your homework for you..." She reproaches. "...but I can run errands, cook a little, fuck you, things like that." Taylor smiles slyly, entirely aware of what she just said.
Looking around at the expensive, expansive entryway to both the men's wing on the left and the women's wing on the right, Julia doesn't see Yumi at her desk. Maybe she's checking on the students or in her office?
Julia sent a quick message to Yumi noting she waiting in the living area. She relayed the two names of Felecia Matthew and Michio Takeuchi. From the descriptions, she had a hard time imaging that the students she had described to her about two girls in Obelisk Blue could seriously be anybody else. She had severe doubts that many students we're walking around with eyepatches and scars. And she was up on trends. If that was a thing happening, she would know. Regardless, she made her message to Yumi, knowing enough procedure of situations like this to speak to them one at a time.
"Call it what you will." Yumi waves a hand dismissively. "I'm sorry for what happened, and I hope the bastard pays for it." The professor's expression slips into cold fury before returning to a neutral one. "Lucky for you, I kept the room next to mine empty, just in case. Come with me." Yumi exits the office, waiting in the doorway for Felicia to follow. Julia sees Yumi exiting the office behind her desk, with Felicia Matthews behind her.
Felicia keeps quiet as Yumi leads her out, but at the mention of bastards paying for it, "Yeah, I'll make sure that Angelica pays dearly." She mumbled under her breath as she follows the older woman to her new room.
During the time that Julia was waiting, she had time to see the new security alert bulletin messages sent out. The details were vague from the report...but she could piece just enough together, the picture was becoming much clearer. And it wasn't good. Seeing Yumi with the student she needed to speak too, Julia approaches. Not trying too do it in too much of an aggressive way. She starts by acknowledging the white haired professor first. "I'm sorry, Yumi. I know you're busy." Seeing the scarred girl, Julia approached her doing it carefully. "Miss Matthews, correct? I'm sorry. You have to keep telling the story over and over to strangers, and I'm going to have to ask you to do it again. Is it alright if I talk to you for a bit?" Julia wasn't just acting nice to be polite. It showed. Sincerely sympathetic to what she's been through.
