I don't have the energy for Phoebe right now and I could have asked Yumi but, she's had a long day too. And...we wouldn't be doing much sleeping."

"Nothing set in stone." Julia didn't even really acknowledge it too much as she loosed up more of her tighter clothing. Sayen didn't seem to mind, so it didn't seem like an issue. "Mostly. Though, I think I'll have to call it a night. A lot to do tomorrow." Julia began to properly adjust, though still giving room to share the bed space. They were both adults. Nothing weird about it. Though... With the book Julia had borrowed, she placed it on the nearby table. "I found this earlier. I thought it would make an interesting subject for history class to pick out what parts are actually true, but I'm not much of a doctor. You don't have to. Don't make more work for yourself or anything, but if you want to peek at it, let me know what you think if it makes sense to you." Sayen walks around to the desk, sitting down at the padded office chair and opening the tome. "A book on magical medicinal techniques? I am not a medical doctor, but psychosomatic effects can be powerful enough to 'trick' the body into healing itself, depending on the ailment." She flips through the pages. "I will need to spend time researching and evaluating the specific techniques mentioned, but there is probably some truth to this."
Julia was almost tempted to see if she could get a rise out of the pinkette. She probably could do it too....at least, some other night when she wasn't already spent. Julia figured that Sayen could at least determine what were valid medical techniques to some degree. Even if not specialized in it, she'd probably have a better understanding of cause and reactions. She'd just have to see what comes of it. She doubted that the doctor would know much about shadow magic and the like, but she seemed interested enough that she might find something there. "I was thinking it would be interesting to go over the evolution of accepted science by showing that things can still follow a certain logic even if people don't understand how." Julia gave a simple enough answer, but this time the yawn she gave was more intense. "Don't stay up too late." While she gave something to preoccupy herself, Julia drifted off to sleep.
She smiles sheepishly. "Thank you. Hmm, I can just say that you picked me up at the bar? Seems believable to me."
