After a few minutes' walk, Felicia finds herself back inside the safety of her flat. It looks a little more tidy than when she left, implying that the butler Hiroko, has been here to clean while she was out.
"H-huh!?" Felicia's eyes widen as she realized that the place was cleaner than when she left. She hurriedly runs to her room, Crap, crap! Hopefully he thinks I just spilled make-up on the sheets! To her dismay, the sheets have been replaced. All she can do is hope Hiroko doesn't suspect anything. The new blankets are clean and soft under Felicia. So, spirits are real... magic is real, shadow duels are a thing... and getting your soul enslaved is a real threat... Then there's also grades I have to worry about. Thinking about all of that, the red-head lets out another sigh, closing her eyes for a brief moment of calm before she started on her schoolwork. (I'm fine with skipping ahead.)
"With their kind, there is little to be done aside from bracing yourself." Angelica thinks for a moment. "I could ask Izanami for protection? It feels too early to ask favors, but it might be necessary." She offers.
Luckily, most of her classes didn't give her much homework to do. She's able to finish everything except the assignment from Yumi with ease. Around ten minutes after finishing her work, Felicia hears a loud knocking on her door. "It's me! Wanna talk?" Michio calls from the hallway outside.
"Haaah." Letting out an exhausted sigh after finishing her homework, Felicia was just about ready to take off her uniform and take a relaxing bath. That was until Michio called out, There's no way she came here to copy my assignment, right? The red-head thinks to herself as she stands up, and opens the door. "Er, sure, come in." Felicia invites her in, showing the eye-patched girl the notes, and books all over the table.
Adam uncharacteristically ignores the stirring downstairs as he looks at her, before shaking his head. "And I wouldn't particularly mind doing it. The problem is that with our bond, I'm not sure you'd be able to say no even if you wanted to. And yes, it looks tres belle."
"Hey." Michio enters, followed by Dinah, who is wearing a spare t-shirt and pants from Michio's wardrobe. They don't seem to fit her very well, but it's better than the tattered remnants of her dress. The other Obelisk Blue student barely even glances at the desk, focusing on Felicia instead. "About during class...you wanna talk about it? I, uh, definitely went too far, and I'm sorry about that." She scratches the back of her head.
"I don't know how it works either." Destiny shrugs. "I do know that I like you, and I've always been a bit of a sub anyway." She gives Adam a thoughtful look. "Is there a way to release the bond? It's probably the only way to be sure what I'd really want. For now, though, we were going shopping?" The girl prompts him.
"It might be doable. I'll have to check with my duel spirit." He nods, slipping an arm around her waist. "Indeed we were. Of course, as your master, I get final say on what you get." He gives her a mock evil grin, before taking her out into Domino City and to the nearest mall.
"Oh, Dinah's here too." Felicia was surprised to see the nun walk around the dorms. But as Michio apologizes, "Ah, that... no, I... I should have pushed you away harder. But I didn't want to cause a commotion... then it just felt kind of... good." The red-head mumbles, her cheeks flushing pink as she spoke. "B-but that doesn't mean I want you doing it again in public!" She then stammers, once again falling into confusion thanks to her prudish nature.
"Not yet. I get the sense that she will ultimately step in if it proves necessary. But she's not likely to help to much yet unless they prove too destructive if not dealt with. But...this has occurred to me. If the individual duel spirits only have memories of duels that they're directly summoned into by their holder, it means you never had the whole yokai. That seems obvious...but, if you get where I'm going with. There's most likely a handler for Yoko's spirit itself. And just as well, that most likely means there's users for the other nekroz monsters. Yoko seems to be taken an interest mostly out of amusement...but she is treating Inazami with wariness. I don't see her encouraging her mortal if she's connected to them to do anything aggressive, but she would most likely want them close enough to take an interest. I haven't had any success locating other ice barrier users...at least magically inclined ones here. Granted, the duel academy does put a lot of sensitive people in the same area, but it still has limits to the amount of ground it covers...I think..." A thought formed in Julia's mind. "The president needs to keep the school's prestige for investors and prospective students...other schools would definitely have their own group of people....I think I can think of something."
"Of course, master." She smiles. ----- A quick internet search shows that there aren't any nearby malls, per say, a shopping district on the edge of downtown Domino City, a few blocks away, has plenty of clothing stores to choose from. Spoiler: Shop District The street is packed with people out and about after work during the late afternoon. Destiny clings to Adam's side, trying to avoid being separated by the crowd.
Dinah nods wordlessly, standing aside from the other two. "Are we all good?" Michio asks hopefully after Felicia's rambling. "And...the public part's the only problem? I really can't read you, you know."
"Uuuh... shut up, how do you think I feel suddenly being..." Felicia continues mumbling, blushing even more, especially with Dinah standing wordlessly as she watched them. "Yeah, we're good. Is that all you came here for?" She asked in a curious tone, taking a deep breath to try and calm herself before Michio does anything more out of the ordinary for the prudish red-head.
