Parent to child age difference and rule 1

I want to know if stating an 18 year old was the result of a teen pregnancy would be a violation of rule 1? There be no description beyond the fact it was the result of a teen pregnancy and the age difference between child and parent being less than 18 years. All story would take place with characters 18 years and older. I just don't know if the implication of underage sex having occurded to the characters is enough to violate rule 1. It's not really vital to the story, just want a child and parent age difference where it makes more sense why they look around the same age.

 

I think it's okay as long as you don't actually depict the sex happening.

 

Site rules a rulers takes any person description that can looks underage as sex scene or erotic content, so you can't write also something like non-erotic scene from public pool showers because any naked body is strictly labeled as erotic content.

 

I'm sure it's fine. Just don't make it weird. For example, there's a difference between mentioning sexual assault happened to a character and describing the actual assault in explicit detail. The first can be shown on TV, the second can't.

 

Like the others have stated, I think as long as an erotic scene isn't depicted with a minor involved, then you wouldn't have a problem. My story has done what you've suggested multiple times, where the ages of the parent and the child are less than 18 years and I haven't seen any issues with site violations.

 

This is correct. It also can't be written in a way that's intended to arouse. You could even depict a pregnant teenager, just not in a fetishistic manner.

This is also correct, except that the scene you describe is an erotic context. It also doesn't apply to this issue, as it is just an implication of underage sex, not an actual scene.

 

Where was your last time, when you visit inside public pool shower ? If you think that mentioning fully ocupied shower room is erotic content, you maybe pay visit to your doctor.

 

Thanks everyone. Glad that the consensus is that mentioning it is fine. I just wanted to have parents and child with an age difference less than 18, and only realistic way of doing that is teen pregnancy. I have no desire at all to cover the teen pregnancy or have it be anywhere near erotic content. I just wanted to check before running into an issue I could have avoided if I looked before I lept.
